[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all! I know I’ve posted something similar to this before, but I’m looking for some suggestions on what to name a brother to [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f].
Names I love that are unusable or that I don’t know if I could get away with using:
[name_u]Bennett[/name_u] TW ahead. a friend named her son this and unfortunately lost him, so I would never use it out of respect for her. Finding something similar in meaning, style, and sound would be great!
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] (won’t work with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], but love the style and sound.)
[name_u]Henry[/name_u] (Is it strange that it weirds me out that this is my dad’s boss’ name?)
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] (
)
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] (doesn’t work with Sunday)
[name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]
(Are these too themed with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]? [name_m]Favorite[/name_m] in this set is Noah.)
[name_u]Liam[/name_u]
Names I love that I may use:
- [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]
[name_u]Hayes[/name_u]
- [name_u]Declan[/name_u] (may also be too themed with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and Sunday)
[name_u]Beckett[/name_u]
- [name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u]
(Favorites are starred.)
Any feedback or suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!

With [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], I really like [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_u]Declan[/name_u] (I don’t think it’s too themed), [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] and [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]. They have the flair and spark of your other names, but feel grounded enough to bring balance!!
Some thoughts on the names you might not be able to use:
- I think [name_u]August[/name_u] would totally work if you used [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but didn’t have a third girl called [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
- With [name_u]Henry[/name_u], I think it depends on a few factors. If the boss is someone your family knows well, have known for a long time, are close too or will stay in their lives for a long while etc, then yes, maybe it would feel a little odd (but not too odd imo since [name_u]Henry[/name_u] is a very popular, classic choice). Equally, if the boss has a ‘negative’ presence - ie, someone who they might complain about, kind irritating etc, then again, yes, it might temporarily be odd (but again, [name_u]Henry[/name_u] is probably classic and common enough that it’s not a huge deal). On the other hand, if the boss is you know, just some guy who happens to run the company your dad works for, who, if he left, would never be contacted again, then it’s fine. However, it all depends on whether you would find it weird.
- Noah/Isaiah/Samuel/Micah - it’s not too themey - these names are all well-known and well-used enough that it doesn’t feel too matchy. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is nice (but there is a bit of popularity disparity that would bother me). [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] could work if you had two girls called [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] might be too close to [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] for me (not unusably so, just not sure). [name_u]Micah[/name_u] is cool!! Probably my favourite of the these!
Some other ideas:
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and…
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u]
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]Nolan[/name_u]
[name_u]Jonah[/name_u]
[name_u]Franklin[/name_u]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_m]Fergus[/name_m]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]
[name_m]Truett[/name_m]
[name_u]Wyn[/name_u]
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_u]Alden[/name_u] (again, wouldn’t work with Audrey)
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m]
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u]

@Greyblue Thank you so much!! I honestly love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m], and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] together! And I really appreciate your feedback on [name_u]Henry[/name_u]. It’s one to continue thinking about! Im excited that you think [name_u]Declan[/name_u] works with the rest of the set. I was just thinking about how much I love the meaning of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I want to raise her to place her faith above all things, and believe in herself and the strength that [name_m]God[/name_m] gives her.
I also love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], and [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]!
Thank you again!

Firstly [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] + [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] are dreamy
So I think you seem to have the names you can’t use on that list for a reason so for me I would move past them in order to focus on names you can use which you have a cracking list off names that fit this criteria.
[name_u]Griffin[/name_u] is my shining star he’s outdoorsy, has a vintage yet more modern feel all rolled into one, feels very in keeping with your sibling set and I love the meaning ‘strong lord’. I think your overall aesthetic is cottagecore and I feel like [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] just embraces that perfectly.
[name_u]Brooks[/name_u] is lovely has a southern vibe and feels gentlemanly. I think [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] works wonderfully with the overall sibling set making the feeling be very fashionable. I really can see why you love [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]!
[name_u]Beckett[/name_u] is a lovely name handsome with a literacy flair that feels distinguished and fashionable. I also love the nickname [name_u]Beck[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] works wonders with the sisters.
You’ve had some lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries

@tori101 Thank you so much for all of these beautiful suggestions. I love the subtle literary references some of them give me too, as I am an avid reader. I think there is just something really special and peaceful about the name [name_u]Brooks[/name_u], and I’m not sure what it is.
I get the same feelings from [name_m]Wells[/name_m] and Carnac. I used to not like one-syllable names, but clearly I have changed my mind! I also appreciate your comment on the sister set. There is just something that feels magical and perfect about it. I never thought I’d feel that way about names, as much as I love them. These are the names I feel I was meant to use, and not much can change my mind. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], + [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] are not for everyone, but they are for me!
Thank you again!

@Babynamequeen029 Thank you so much! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from your suggestions are:
[name_m]Nash[/name_m]
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_u]Eli[/name_u]
[name_u]Cruz[/name_u]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] +
[name_m]Zane[/name_m]
I hadn’t thought of this before reading through your list, but I like the idea of using two nicknames (i.e., [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and Theo) and two formal names( [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and Audrey.) Definitely something to consider!
Thank you again!
