We’re having such a hard time with deciding on a first name for our baby boy!
Both our dad’s are Davids, so we’ve decided middle name will be [name_m]David[/name_m], but we cannot agree on a first name for a boy. We definitely prefer more classical names- and [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_m]Liam[/name_m], but are hesitant because it’s so popular!!! Someone recently suggested [name_m]Adam[/name_m], which we both like, but we weren’t sure whether the combination - [name_m]Adam[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] - was too biblical.
Any thoughts on [name_m]Adam[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m], or suggestions for other first names?
[name_m]Adam[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is a little too bland for me. [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is awesome, but you’re right, extremely popular. [name_m]How[/name_m] about:
Thank you!
I love the name [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] too, but DH isn’t a fan. Super happy you mentioned [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], as that was a name I’ve been thinking of but haven’t been sure of yet- now I feel a little more confident about it!
I agree with your thoughts about [name_m]Liam[/name_m]; what if you used [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] and used [name_m]Liam[/name_m] as a nickname? [name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought.
My first thought is [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Grant[/name_m] is the perfect brother to [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. It’s classic, but not overly popular. I also like that both names are one syllable.
I love [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f]! I really like the name [name_m]Adam[/name_m] but I do agree [name_m]Adam[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] sounds very biblical for some reason. Others:
I think [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] flows a bit better than [name_m]Adam[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] because there isn’t a ‘d’ in both names.
