Brothers for Irene

I’m writing a book in which the main character’s name is [name_f]Irene[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] [name_m]Philipson[/name_m]. She has two older brothers, but I can’t decide on their names. Any suggestions?

Would you like me to move this to Writer’s Corner, the area of the site specifically for writers?

Oh, yes please! I didn’t realize that that existed, I’m sorry

Moved it!

I’ll try to suggest a few names for the brothers.

[name_m]David[/name_m]
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m]
[name_u]Laurence[/name_u]
[name_u]George[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_u]Francis[/name_u]
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
[name_u]Levi[/name_u]
[name_u]Jesse[/name_u]

Love these! [name_u]Laurence[/name_u], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]George[/name_u], and especially [name_m]David[/name_m] are my favorites. [name_f]Irene[/name_f] also kind of strikes me as a Ukrainian/Russian name, so maybe [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] or [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] fit? If not, I would suggest [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m].

Seconding [name_u]Alex[/name_u] and [name_u]Laurence[/name_u]/ [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u].

I think because [name_f]Irene[/name_f] has such a classic ring to it, the brothers should as well.
Maybe [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]? But it also depends on the genre! I wouldn’t suggest those, for example, for a fantasy novel.

[name_f]Irene[/name_f] and [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] !!!

Both are old classic names and seem fitting for each other

Perhaps the other brother is something classic like some others have mentioned. Thomas?

Irene, Edgar, and Thomas Phillipson?
