I’m making a fantasy name list for long-way-off future children. We’ll probably have a max of three, so I figured if I had three names for boys and three for girls, I’d be well prepared, right? My current favorite girls names are sorted ([name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Lyra[/name], [name]Cecelia[/name] [name]Daphne[/name], and [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Claire[/name]), but I’m having trouble thinking of combos for boys that I like, so I thought I’d turn to you. What are your favorite boys combos that would go well with [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Jon[/name]?

Two rules, working with the last name and dislike for alliteration:

  • No names that start with B.
  • No names that end with a strong -in sound (-an or -on sounds are okay).

Thanks!! My favorites from your list are [name]Gideon[/name], [name]August[/name], [name]Archer[/name], and [name]Henry[/name]. DH vetoed [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Gideon[/name] right off, but looks like there’s still some hope for the others! :wink:
