Has anyone else experienced a malware browser redirect on this site? At least once a day (but often several times a day) for the last several days, I’ll be somewhere on nameberry and all of a sudden my browser redirects to a [name_m]Flash[/name_m] upgrade requirement with pop-up windows. It looks totally legit but, luckily, my husband (who is a computer guy) was sitting next to me the first time it happened and pointed out that the URL was nothing related to [name_m]Flash[/name_m] and it was most likely malware or a virus. I do a lot of browsing on this computer, and this is the only site that it happens on. Am I the only one? It’s getting really frustrating!
I have been having a lot of problems with Nameberry lately. I have an ad blocker that solves the problem on my laptop, but on mobile it’s just awful. I’m constantly battling with popup ads and being magically transported to other websites without clicking on the ads. It’s gotten ridiculous.
Have you scanned your computer? The popups might be caused by a virus already on your computer.
Yeah, I’ve done a full scan and everything is A-OK. The reason I think it is site-related is that this really is the only site it happens on. Hopefully it goes away soon!
