Brutal and honest opinions of names please

Would love to hear your brutal and honest opinions on both my girls and boys list.

Would also love to know if you think any of the names listed would work as a sibset or for multiples ie. twins, triplets, quadruplets especially if they were mix gendered (a little concerned they might not be )

Thanks

Your girlsā€™ list is a lot longer than your boysā€™ list.

From your girlsā€™ list, I like [name_f]Anya[/name_f], [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], [name_f]Maya[/name_f], [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u], and [name_f]Tori[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Maya[/name_f] and [name_f]Tori[/name_f] as a set of twins, as well as [name_f]Anya[/name_f] and [name_f]Avalon[/name_f].
You should narrow it down and decide which ones you like most.

Your boysā€™ list is fine, I like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] as twin brothers.

If I had to name one set of quadruplets for youā€¦ I think [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], [name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] would be good quadruplet names.

Iā€™m hoping by getting feed back on my names this will help me to narrow down my girls list. Girls names have always been harder for me than boys lol

I donā€™t think I have any brutal opinions, youā€™ve got some name gems here! What I notice immediately is the mix names from a variety of cultures. Perhaps you have ties to all of them (or your child would through another parent) but if not Iā€™d advise doing your research on each name to avoid cultural appropriation.
I wouldnā€™t put [name_f]Chava[/name_f] and [name_m]Hamish[/name_m] together, for example - but if you have ties to the cultures they come from, then your opinion on that is much more relevant than mine as I am part of neither

From your girls list, I like:

[name_f]Anya[/name_f] - sweet, sparky, international
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] - mystical and cool
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] - sharp but sweet
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] - fun and sunny but rugged too
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] - elegant and charming
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - warm but wild
[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] - cute and sassy
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] - stylish and cool
[name_f]Vienna[/name_f] - bright and elegant
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] - gentle but rugged
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m] - cool and charming
[name_m]Rhydian[/name_m] - magical but grounded
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] - handsome and cool
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] - lovely, elegant and sweet

I donā€™t love (or just arenā€™t for me):

[name_f]Tori[/name_f] - Iā€™m in the UK, so no.
[name_f]Olesya[/name_f] - it could grow on me, but it reminds me of oily (as I say, I feel like if I met one, that would change)
[name_f]Miley[/name_f] - not bad, I just find it a bit flimsy?
Keiyana - I find this spelling a bit too letter-y? Is it said Kee-ana, kay-ana, Kye-ana? Something else? [name_f]Kiana[/name_f] or [name_f]Kyana[/name_f] would be nicer imo
[name_u]Carlin[/name_u] - I like the meaning and it could grow on me, just feel unsure about it
Aylish - love the sound, would prefer [name_f]Ailis[/name_f] or [name_f]Ailish[/name_f] sp
[name_f]Adalyn[/name_f] - not bad, just prefer other spellings

Sibsets:

[name_f]Anya[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m] and [name_m]Rhydian[/name_m]
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m], [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_f]Vienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f], [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] and [name_m]Rhydian[/name_m]

Sorry, I pressed reply before I was finished! With the previous caveat, these are names I think would be lovely together for siblings, including multiples:

[name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] & [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m], [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] & [name_f]Anya[/name_f]
[name_m]Rhydian[/name_m] & [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] (seconding @Greyblue )
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m], [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] & [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] & [name_f]Isadora[/name_f]

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here we go!

Girls

Anya-I love [name_f]Anya[/name_f]. Itā€™s sweet but also kind of bold & exotic. Itā€™s easy & well known, but not popular. I like the built in nn of [name_f]Ani[/name_f] too.

Avalon-I donā€™t know why I donā€™t like this. I think it feels too modern & maybe too much like [name_m]Avon[/name_m]?

Ainsley-Meh, also too modern & kind of nasally.

Adalyn-This is basically every little girl I meet. It looks made up & trendy. I love [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] & [name_f]Ada[/name_f], because those feel more classy.

Alexia-Meh, not my style. Feels kind of snooty.

Alyssa-I donā€™t mind this. It doesnā€™t do much for me; maybe a bit dated. But itā€™s not unpleasant.

Aylish-Well, I like [name_f]Eilis[/name_f] spelled this way & said that way. The spelling looks odd, but also, itā€™s way too [name_u]Billie[/name_u].

Brynn-Itā€™s a little blah to me, but not horrible.

Carlin-That just reminds me of [name_u]George[/name_u] [name_u]Carlin[/name_u].

Chava-Ooh, nice. I love the idea of this more than the sound. Iā€™m a sucker for Hebrew names. And I love that itā€™s unique.

Candace-I donā€™t know. I never liked the sound of this, & itā€™s sort of dated.

[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] or Aylee-I like [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]. Very cute. Iā€™d stick with the authentic spelling even if it might be a pain sometimes. Still worth it.

Eloise-Aw, I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. Sweet, light, smart & just lovable.

Isadora-I like [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] & I like other ā€˜doraā€™ names like [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] & [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]. Something about [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] feel stoo heavy, but Iā€™d still be excited to meet one. Itā€™s an underused classic name and has cute nn options. [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] & [name_f]Dora[/name_f], but then thereā€™s also [name_f]Idgie[/name_f]!

Kenzie-Not my style at all. Too cutesy & trendy.

Keiyana-Thatā€™s just too much of a spelling. [name_f]Kiana[/name_f] isnā€™t my style, but itā€™s not bad spelled that way.

[name_f]Meabh[/name_f] or Maeve-Love [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]! Here I am advocating for the authentic spelling of [name_f]Eilis[/name_f] & [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f], but I prefer [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] to [name_f]Meabh[/name_f]. Not sure why. [name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] name though.

Macey-I like [name_f]Maisy[/name_f] a lot, but [name_u]Macey[/name_u] is just too cutesy, modern & over done.

Maya-Thatā€™s really nice. I much prefer [name_f]Maia[/name_f] for some reason, but great name either way.

Miley-No, thanks. [name_m]Way[/name_m] too [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] & feels kind of made up.

Nessa-I donā€™t love the look or sound of this, but would really prefer it be a nn for [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] if anything. It looks like itā€™s missing something.

Olesya-I donā€™t like the look of this.

Shiloh-I love [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] for a boy, but itā€™s so pretty that I donā€™t mind it for a girl either.

Tori-Not my style; feels kind of dated. If nothing else, itā€™s better as a nn for [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].

Vienna-Itā€™s not awful, but not my favorite.

Boys

Emmett-Thatā€™s cute. Kind of cowboy-y.

Hamish-I like this! You never see it on peopleā€™s lists, but itā€™s handsome & different.

Rhydian-Thatā€™s a little confusing.

Seamus-Love it! [name_m]Even[/name_m] more than [name_m]Hamish[/name_m].

Tobias-Totally a name that should be my style, but Iā€™m not in to. Maybe itā€™s the ā€˜toeā€™ part.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

[name_f]Anya[/name_f] - I like it, it has a fun feel and is familiar but not overly common
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] - I have sort of mixed feelings, my gut reaction is to dislike it I think since itā€™s similar to my name, which I donā€™t love, but if I didnā€™t have that bias Iā€™d probably think it was elegant and kinda nice
[name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] - Seems very trendy and I feel like a lot of people will have harsh reactions, I donā€™t personally mind it too much though
[name_f]Adalyn[/name_f] - Not my favorite since I donā€™t really like the adda- sound, not sure why
[name_f]Alexia[/name_f] - [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] blah and overdone
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] - Doesnā€™t excite me but I have nothing against it
Aylish - I sort of like the sound but not the spelling (feels too on-the-nose for me)
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] - Something about the sound is offputting to me for some reason
[name_u]Carlin[/name_u] - So similar to [name_f]Carly[/name_f] that it almost annoys me in a weird way that it isnā€™t, if it wasnā€™t for that I might like it, though I usually think of it as a boy name
[name_f]Chava[/name_f] - [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] cool and unusual
[name_f]Candace[/name_f] - [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] fun and I like [name_f]Candy[/name_f] as a nickname
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] or [name_f]Aylee[/name_f] - Feels a little blah since there are so many popular names like it
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - I like it somewhat, it has a smart, vintage feel, though I prefer [name_u]Louise[/name_u]
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] - Not my style but I like it for others, itā€™s very elegant
[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] - Sort of fun but feels a little empty on its own (as opposed to MacKenzie)
Keiyana - [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] cool but doesnā€™t excite me a ton, this spelling feels longer than it needs to be though
[name_f]Meabh[/name_f] or [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] first thought is ā€œwhy do people hype this up so much?ā€ but I also donā€™t dislike it
[name_u]Macey[/name_u] - Not my favorite but I like vintage nicknames in general so I think Iā€™d still be excited to see someone use it (sorry if this sounds weird)
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] - Not super exciting but definitely a nice versatile name
[name_f]Miley[/name_f] - Fun but maybe too [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
[name_f]Nessa[/name_f] - Sounds incomplete in a weird way
[name_f]Olesya[/name_f] - [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] cool, strikes me as European
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] - I prefer it for a boy but still really cute, I like the vibe it gives off
[name_f]Tori[/name_f] - Might feel slightly dated to some but I still think itā€™s kinda pretty
[name_f]Vienna[/name_f] - [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] cool, itā€™s been growing on my lately

[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] - I feel pretty neutral but can see the appeal, also makes me think of the Lego movie
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m] - Too crusty/religious sounding to me
[name_m]Rhydian[/name_m] - I Havenā€™t heard it before but it gives off YA character vibes (I donā€™t mean that as an insult itā€™s just what it made me think of)
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] - Sounds too close to shame for me and the pronunciation also throws me off
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] - Another where I feel neutral but I do like the nickname [name_u]Toby[/name_u]

I think [name_f]Anya[/name_f] and [name_f]Candace[/name_f], [name_f]Miley[/name_f] and [name_f]Tori[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_u]Macey[/name_u], [name_f]Chava[/name_f] and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], Keiyana and [name_f]Maya[/name_f], and [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], [name_m]Rhydian[/name_m], and [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] go together well
