We have had all of these names as our #1 at one point or another but then it changes. We only have a couple of weeks before our due date and cannot decide on a favorite.
Also feel free to suggest a name if you think it fits well with these.
Thanks so much! It is interesting to get others opinions or their connotations they have of a name.
[name_f]My[/name_f] best friend is named [name_f]Brooklynn[/name_f] and everyone LOVES her name. She gets compliments on her name from people of all ages. Her family calls her [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], so if you like both names than you can go with [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] nickname [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]. [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is a nice name but seems kind of trendy/hipster, unless it’s a family name or something. [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]/[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is so so popular right now so I won’t use it.
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u] - pretty, elegant, classic, simple as it’s single syllable
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] -strong, simple yet pretty, less commonly heard of
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]- OK
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] -makes [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] sound ‘trendy’ instead of classic
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u] - this is nms but I don’t really have anything against it, it’s a nice name with a great meaning
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] - [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] is a Welsh boys’ name so I can’t get on board with [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] as a girls’ name but I do like the name
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] - It is really popular in the US, also it is a boys’ name and I dislike the sound
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] - adding lyn to the end makes it trendy
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]: Nms but it doesn’t bother me as a unisex name.
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u]: Again, nms but I don’t have anything against it. I had a friend growing up with this name
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f]: Seems kind of bland to me so I’m indifferent to it.
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]…this is my least favorite on your list. It just rubs me the wrong way. It seems very tendy to me and not a very nice place name…I’m not huge into place name names but I would probably pick one a little more glamorous than [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]. Have you thought of [name_f]Brighton[/name_f], [name_u]Sydney[/name_u], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_u]London[/name_u], [name_u]Paris[/name_u],?
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u]: Is probably the best. It’s a nature name, I guess.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]: Is a boy’s name.
[name_u]Bryn[/name_u]: Is also a boy’s name.
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]: Is a place.
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_u]Bryn[/name_u], I really like my name. I’ve never understood why some people spell it with two n’s though
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u] - Really pretty! I love nature names.
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] - Also pretty, it has a lovely flow to it!
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] - I really dislike this name, sorry
I love [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] and have it on my long list. I love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], for a boy, but do not care for [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]. [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] in the area I lived was very overdone in the 80s and 90s. [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] and [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] I am neutral on.
