I’ve always liked Brynn on a girl, and I know that’s its most familiar usage, but lately I’ve been completely captivated by the idea of Brynn / Bryn on a boy.
I first heard it used on Bryn Chapman Parish (an Australian actor and singer), and it definitely stuck with me. To me, Brynn on a boy feels beachy, laid-back, and effortlessly cool.
I’m curious if anyone else can see it working on a boy too? Also just for fun, what would you name a brother/sister of a boy called Brynn?
Edit: to say I’m Australian for context.

Are you in the US? I’m in the UK and so find Bryn/Brynn totally fitting for a boy, as a traditionally masc Welsh name. I hope you get to hear from US Berries though, if that’s where you’re located.

I also think of [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] as a boy first - and prefer it.

Totally works as a boy name in my view too! My main association is a guy named [name_f]Brin[/name_f], so [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is definitely unisex to me. I think it works for a boy! Although, it may be misread or heard as [name_m]Bryan[/name_m] occasionally. (In the US)

I like it! I would personally use the [name_f]Bryn[/name_f] spelling for boys. It reminds me of names like [name_m]Beck[/name_m], [name_m]Frey[/name_m], and [name_m]Rhys[/name_m].

I’m not from an [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking country, but I do think [name_f]Bryn[/name_f] sounds like a boy name! It shares the soft masculinity vibe as [name_m]Ellis[/name_m], [name_m]Remy[/name_m], [name_m]Arlo[/name_m], [name_m]Finn[/name_m], Beau…
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] with two n’s feels more modern and unisex but I don’t think you’d be streching the name too much

I love [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] for a boy – maybe [name_f]Bryn[/name_f] a little more! It gives me rugged hills and exploring in wet, misty weather, but I can totally see the beachy, cool vibes you’re getting too.
I believe [name_f]Darcy[/name_f] is familiar for boys where you are, so [name_f]Bryn[/name_f] feels in keeping with that?
