Btwn my grandma's names

One is my Grandma’s name & one is my Great Grandma’s name.

[name]Caroline[/name] Vs. [name]Violet[/name]

Husband & I like them both so much , but need to choose only one to use as our Daughter’s mn. Thank you

I prefer [name]Caroline[/name] since my brain always reads violent instead of [name]Violet[/name].

I like [name]Caroline[/name] more, [name]Violet[/name] is kind of overused for me now. :frowning:

I think they are both beautiful names, but my favorite is [name]Caroline[/name].

If it were my baby girl, I’d go with [name]Caroline[/name].

If it were my Aunt [name]Eunice[/name]'s…she would choose [name]BOTH[/name]! (All 4 of her children have 2 middles.)

[name]Both[/name] are lovely, but it would all depend on fn.

[name]Caroline[/name] for sure - such a gorgeous name!!!

[name]Violet[/name], definitely. Such a beautiful, feminine name without being overly frilly. [name]Caroline[/name] lacks the sophistication of [name]Violet[/name], in my opinion.

~[name]Frances[/name]

[name]Both[/name] names are nice! I agree with pp that the decision cannnot be made without considering the first name. For example, if the first name is [name]Eliza[/name], then [name]Caroline[/name] would be better. If the first name is [name]Sarah[/name], then [name]Violet[/name] would be better.

All things being equal and if both names flow equally well with the rest of the name, I vote for [name]Violet[/name].

They are both really nice names but what is the fn?

i like [name]Caroline[/name]

I agree, it would depend on the first name and the surname. If they both work well, I’ll vote for [name]Caroline[/name].

I prefer [name]Violet[/name], but it completely depends on the first name and surname. I have two middle names though so I would use both!
