Warning for cancer.

[name_m]Jolyon[/name_m] “ [name_m]Joles[/name_m] “ [name_m]Servius[/name_m] Imerson (60) is Pippa’s paternal grandfather and the father of Sabrina’s husband. He grew up loving poetry and it’s guided him as his true passion, having many careers in and out of his life. [name_f]Poetry[/name_f] is the only stable thing for him even though he didn’t just want to do so because of his poet ancestors. He’d be lying if he said they didn’t influence him, because he’s glad they did. [name_m]Joles[/name_m] loves Pippa’s name and nickname and believed that son was going to do something beautiful like that for her name. [name_m]Joles[/name_m] has two sons, who mainly stay out of drama involving other families, though he agrees the [name_m]Saladin[/name_m] brothers aren’t as harsh as some may say about them. He is shielded from knowing about Meredith’s child she put up for adoption, and it’s believed involving more people would not help the situation [name_f]Meredith[/name_f] had. He’s glad [name_m]Hamza[/name_m] forgave [name_f]Meredith[/name_f] and that [name_f]Meredith[/name_f] didn’t mean to villainise her ex or his brother. Joles’s two sons are on good ground with one another and both get along well with the bonds one another makes. [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is a very happy spot in Joles’s life, and he finds it touching that she’s inspired her father more with his poetry.

Admittedly [name_m]Joles[/name_m] isn’t the best with poetry when he runs on empty in terms of ideas. He found it cringey but genuinely enjoyed it. When he never felt truly at place with his past careers, he never hated them, he just felt more balanced in his life when he served a role in something. He has a new milestone in his own life, not too long after the milestone of turning 60, but it’s not one’s typical milestone. It involves his mother, who has been a protector for him, alongside a fighter for herself amid her battle with breast cancer. The big moment for her is that she has been declared cancer free! It’s been a huge relief and miracle for her, and definitely something [name_m]Joles[/name_m] has felt proud of when writing poetry. He knows she’s not the same health-wise, but admires her spirit despite her fears, and that deep down, the real her was always there. [name_m]Joles[/name_m] thanks [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] for helping guide the light through the darkness, even despite the fact that she isn’t aware on what happened. [name_m]Joles[/name_m] thanks his mother for teaching him not to hold grudges forever and that he’s lucky to have something great to think about in terms of other family members, even ones not blood-related like [name_f]Aria[/name_f]. [name_m]Joles[/name_m] knows his son will find a publisher for his poems and is excited to hear when he’ll get that opportunity.
