Caden or Cole?

Narrowed it down to two boy names. Which do you prefer? Any comments would be appreciated.

I like both. At this moment, I slightly prefer [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. That could change in five minutes…and again and again. :smiley:

I much prefer [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. And seriously love [name_u]Cade[/name_u].

[name_m]Caden[/name_m] is great on paper, so handsome, but I’m against any more boys names that rhyme with [name_u]Aiden[/name_u].

Overall, I like [name_m]Cole[/name_m] the best. I do like both, but I think [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is much more of a timeless name, while the “[name_u]Aiden[/name_u]” trend will (hopefully) soon pass. [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is both handsome and sweet, and isn’t overly popular. [name_m]Cole[/name_m]/[name_m]Caden[/name_m] will probably have an [name_u]Aiden[/name_u], a [name_u]Jayden[/name_u], and maybe even a [name_m]Zayden[/name_m] in his class, so [name_m]Cole[/name_m] might stand out more. I like them both a lot! (and love the suggestion of [name_u]Cade[/name_u]). I prefer [name_m]Cole[/name_m] by just a tiny amount and its spelling is much more intuitive.

I’m going to have to say [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. [name_m]Caden[/name_m] is way too trendy for me, ([name_u]Aidan[/name_u], [name_u]Brayden[/name_u], [name_m]Caden[/name_m], [name_u]Hayden[/name_u], [name_u]Jayden[/name_u], [name_m]Kaden[/name_m], [name_m]Zayden[/name_m]), while [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is not.

I definitely prefer [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. As other posters have mentioned, the -aden trend is getting kind of old to me. I do sort of like [name_u]Cade[/name_u], but I still think [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is better.

Thank you all! We love both but leaning towards [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. With [name_m]Caden[/name_m], we agree with the others on the -aden trend and are having a hard time getting past that. Its unfortunate because we really like the name otherwise.

I choose [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it, and I’m tired of [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] rhyming names.
