Really like the idea of a music or dance theme as a middle name, love [name]Cadence[/name] and [name]Aria[/name], [name]Lyric[/name] is pretty cool too. Any ideas on first names that would work, or other musical middle names? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not too sure what your taste in names is like, so here’s a mixed bunch

[name]Lola[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Eleanora[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Odessa[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Adele[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]*
[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Sapphira[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Adora[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]*
[name]Elisabetta[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Marguerite[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]*
[name]Maxine[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Cadence[/name]

I love [name]Cadence[/name]! Some other ideas:
Opus (a cool twist on [name]Opal[/name]?..Maybe? )

Wow, some of those are odd, but maybe they could work.

  • for favorites

[name]Shira[/name] means “song” in Hebrew. Pronounced sheer-ah, not with a short i sound as in [name]Shirley[/name].

[name]Viola[/name] is a favourite of mine, of course its an instrument I don’t know if that counts for you. I don’t actually like [name]Piper[/name] or [name]Harper[/name] that much but they could be options.

[name]Madrigal[/name] is sort of cool.

[name]Lark[/name], doesn’t exactly count but is a bird most known for its sweet song. I wouldn’t name a child [name]Canary[/name].

Kinneret is the Hebrew word for harp or lyre, and its in the Bible, however its also the name in Hebrew of the Tiberian sea. (Which is sort of harp-shaped). It is easier to be named Kinneret than [name]Lyre[/name], I would think - [name]Lyre[/name] is said like Liar - and has assorted nickname options like Kinney, Ret, [name]Kay[/name], etc. but people will probably think you made it up.

Or go with something like [name]Carmen[/name] (after the [name]Opera[/name] by that name), or after a favorite singer ([name]Presley[/name], [name]Adele[/name], etc).

As for dance, I think [name]Kayley[/name] means dance? Also, I think of [name]Miriam[/name] (sister of [name]Moses[/name]) who dances in the Bible after crossing the red sea. Or something like [name]Charisse[/name] or [name]Ginger[/name] after famous dancers.

I love musical names, and [name]Cadence[/name] is one of my faves

Other musical suggestions (trying not to repeat):

I like [name]Cadence[/name], prefer the sound of [name]Aria[/name] slightly.
