Is this trendy?
I have never heard of this as a name but I really like it. I just worry that it will be forever confused with [name_f]Candice[/name_f].
This is not a trendy name that I can tell…in fact, I know two [name_f]Cadence[/name_f]'s who are my mother’s age (born in the early 60s). And that’s it. I love the meaning, and actually, my fiancee and I have it as a mn contender for [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f].
It was very trendy in my area about 10 yrs ago. In my book, that makes it dated.
I haven’t met a single [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] so I do not think this name is trendy. I think [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] is really pretty and has a sweet lacey delicate vibe. Not keen on the nickname [name_f]Candy[/name_f] though.
I don’t believe it is trendy, but it does have a sound that has been on trend for the past five years.
I love [name_f]Cadence[/name_f]. To me, it’s timeless but also unique. I agree with tori101 on the nickname [name_f]Candy[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] is hard for nicknames…you get [name_f]Candy[/name_f] or [name_f]Cady[/name_f] or something similar which would take away from the name. Although I’m a big believer in nicknames happnening organically, they do happen and you have to consider them!
