[name_u]Romy[/name_u] already had two daughters before getting together with Rose; [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] & [name_f]Clover[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] & [name_u]Romy[/name_u] have been friends since university, but started dating 14 and a half years ago, when [name_u]Romy[/name_u] was pregnant with [name_f]Clover[/name_f].
*Romy’s grandmother’s name was [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] so she gave both her daughters the name [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] as their 2nd middle name in honour of their great-grandmother.
**Samuel, [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] are biological brothers from the same parents. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_u]Romy[/name_u] looked into adoption fairly early on in their relationship because they knew they wanted more children and they thought it would take a long time before they would actually be able to adopt. However, they were immediately given a baby boy, [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], after just 15 months of dating, when [name_f]Clover[/name_f] only just turned 1. After agreeing to adopt him they learned he had two older twin brothers. They adopter Dylan’s older brothers just two weeks later. 13 years ago.
Their second adoption process was 5 years later when they adopted [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] at the age of two. 8 years ago.
After adopting [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] expressed she wanted to birth/biologically have a child as well. They used a sperm donor and she gave birth to [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f]. 7 years ago.
Two years later they adopted again; this time girl-girl twins [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. This is an open adoption and they have a good relationship with the birth mum. 5 years ago.
The following year they adopted their daughter [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], who was 12 years old at the time. They had been fostering her for 5 years already. 4 years ago.
The next year they adopted their son [name_u]Jack[/name_u] at age 3 months. This is also an open adoption and they have a good relationship with the birth mum. 3 years ago.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] wanted to have one more biological child. Again the used a sperm donor but were very shocked to find out they were having quads!! They were born just over a year ago.
They didn’t plan on having any more children, but Romy’s brother [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and his wife, Rafael’s mum, tragically passed away recently, leaving their only son [name_m]Rafael[/name_m] orphaned. Of course there was no hesitation in [name_u]Romy[/name_u] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] adopting their nephew.
