[name_f]Ria[/name_f] [name_f]Miliama[/name_f] [name_f]Pita[/name_f] (31) is Sylvia’s assistant at work. She really enjoys the [name_u]Tashi[/name_u] and Líng families and is always entertained by the way [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] handles the pseudoscience preachers. She actually has a Himalayan salt lamp which she admittedly likes for decoration but knows is not true science. She especially knows this since [name_f]China[/name_f] and Bhutan, where [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] and [name_m]Polo[/name_m] are respectively, are both countries where the Himalayas are, alongside other countries. [name_f]Ria[/name_f] is actually from Tuvalu and loves her culture, even if her country isn’t very visited, mainly because of the authenticity of the nature there. She loves the UK and considers herself very [name_f]British[/name_f] as well and has been open with both cultures. She loves traditional Tuvaluan dances and costumes. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] has been a huge help with her when she first too the job, give she was very nervous and didn’t quite know what she wanted in a job. She never thought she’d do anything with nature given her pollen allergy but enjoyed the idea of ethical eating and the idea of being educated. So now that she’s assistant, she feels very proud of herself and highly of [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], whom she enjoys assisting.
The reason why [name_f]Ria[/name_f] is often shy about her dreams and accomplishments is because she grew up not knowing what she wanted to do. She liked stage acting but her parents kept chiming in with stuff she didn’t ask for, like her father stating she should get a main role because she “deserves it” and her mother insisting on an ensemble role because “it’s more realistic”. [name_f]Ria[/name_f] knew they meant well but didn’t know which way to go and found this even more nerve wracking. When she auditioned, she was actually more nervous, so much that it messed up her audition and she didn’t get any role at all. In addition, she was very intelligent but her father insisted she take tougher classes while her mother insisted she just skip a grade. She voluntarily chose to do neither and she’s actually proud of this, glad she gave herself time to enjoy childhood. They learned to lessen their pushiness when she didn’t ask for it and she’s now happy to be engaged to her fiancée. She didn’t tell anyone she was planning this and was glad for the proposal working out so well. She is not doing wedding planning yet but that doesn’t take away her affection for the woman she loves. [name_f]Ria[/name_f] loves painting impressionist artwork and knows a lot of history on past impressionist artists as well as following present-day impressionist artists online. While [name_f]Ria[/name_f] tends to be a nervous person, she is quite positive when it comes to other people and she will try to find something good about them.
