[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Ealasaid[/name_f] " [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] " [name_f]Janine[/name_f] Caffett (25) is someone Vere’s started getting to know better, as she’s his uncle’s girlfriend. Things are serious between [name_f]Lark[/name_f] and [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] in that they’re committed to one another [name_f][/name_f]- having started casually seeing each other and dating other people [name_f][/name_f]- but they’re not moving things along too quickly, as it doesn’t appeal to either of them. The fact they both travel for work a lot is another factor at play in holding off making any major leaps.
[name_f][/name_f]A coordinator for a fashion magazine, Betsy’s the person who does the arranging, connecting and setting up for the articles and editorials here colleagues create. She’s always loved styling herself, but prefers to be removed as she jokes her heart wouldn’t take criticism from other people. The fact she loves exploring new places is also why she went down her current path, as it allows for new experiences. And Betsy’s the sort who’ll always be down for a new trial, be it water skiing or free climbing [the latter stuck as a hobby].
[name_f][/name_f]Historically, people haven’t always responded well to Betsy’s more blunt way of communicating. She’s always been assertive [name_f][/name_f]- more than her older siblings, something they joke about a lot [name_f][/name_f]- and for a while she wondered if she needed to change herself: people always were fine with her dad being this way inclined, but not [name_f]Betsy[/name_f]. Her mum’s the person who encouraged her to note change herself though. And, in the world she works in, getting to the point is a necessity for easier process.
[name_f][/name_f]Through her older sister, Betsy’s also an auntie, something she and [name_f]Lark[/name_f] bonded over when a mutual friend introduced them. Her niece and nephew are a little older than [name_m]Vere[/name_m] and [name_m]Alex[/name_m], but a playdate is something [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Pollie[/name_f] would be happy for the boys to have. Granted can anything rival their excitement when they met Betsy’s two roommates: her rescue cats [name_f]Fee[/name_f] and Foe?
