Fun fact: There is no word for “please” in the Danish language!
*Quick note: some of these names are used in a lot of different Scandinavian countries so I’ll probably include them in multiple CAFs, I hope that’s ok! I tried to include as many solely Danish names as possible, but a lot of them are also Swedish/Norwegian/Dutch etc.

Haha, I love the fun fact, it’s true! [name_f]My[/name_f] dad is [name_m]Danish[/name_m] but I never lived with him and grew up with only my [name_f]English[/name_f] mum - and we use please a lot in the UK. I used to get so annoyed at my dad and think he was being very patronising when I would visit and he would say (in English) just “pass me the salt” or “move this chair” or “here - hold this” in what I perceived to be a rude, cold and purposefully disrespectful and dismissive manner. It wasn’t until I was about 15 that I realised (after years of watching [name_m]Danish[/name_m] tv and films, visiting family and reading [name_m]Danish[/name_m] kids picture books) that there was no word for please. I just spent my whole life thinking my family, and particularly my dad (other people wouldn’t ask things of me as often so there was no need for the word please) were rude AF. Hahaha

(I come from [name_m]Danish[/name_m] heritage and grew up in a largely [name_m]Danish[/name_m] church, and I forgot how much these names feel like coming home to me! Especially the last names lol)
