We’re starting to try for our third baby and are loving the name [name_u]Calder[/name_u]. We pronounce it Caulder, like cauldron, and it’s only just occurred to me that maybe we’re saying it wrong since I’ve never heard it anywhere else before. [name_m]How[/name_m] would you say it? Caulder or [name_u]Cal[/name_u]-der?

A friend of mine is named [name_u]Calder[/name_u] pronounced call-der (call like a phone call).

That’s how we’re saying it! Thanks for the response, that’s really helpful.

Yea, Call-der. I wouldn’t even think about saying [name_u]Cal[/name_u]-der.

That’s a relief, thank you!

Sounds like “cauldron” here too. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] choice!
