Looking for a [name_u]California[/name_u] or Coastal inspired GIRL’s name to honor where DH and I first met ([name_u]California[/name_u]’s Central Coast)
I think [name_f]Callie[/name_f] is the obvious choice, but maybe too direct. You could use the name of the actual place you met, for example, if you met on the coast near San [name_m]Francisco[/name_m], that would most likely be the Gulf of the Farallones and you could call her [name_f]Farrah[/name_f]. Something like that. Maybe you can identify some [name_f]Flora[/name_f] or fauna you saw while you were there. You likely saw a sanderling or willet that, while not traditional names, sound nameish enough and come with cute nicknames.
I’m a little baffled by how few ocean/beachy names there are, but perhaps:
