I love [name_u]Callahan[/name_u]!
The name has no obvious feminine / masculine endings so it looks completely neutral to me
I think it’s a great name! I’ve only met a woman with the name, otherwise I think it’d be masculine to me, but as it stands, I see it neutrally (and I really do think it works for any gender).
your the one that actually introducted me to [name_u]Callahan[/name_u] for a girl in the first place from one of your threads!
for me I love [name_u]Callahan[/name_u] for a girl and [name_m]Calihan[/name_m] for a boy :))
[name_u]Callahan[/name_u] feels very masculine to me, so I prefer it on a boy.
Well, as a surname it means “descendant of Ceallacháin”, so it is derived from a male name, though it’s not necessarily gendered by its meaning. I guess the similarity to [name_u]Callan[/name_u], [name_m]Kelvin[/name_m], [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], and [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] makes it seem masculine.
