Hi, I am pregnant with baby number 2. I have a 2 year old son named [name_u]Callan[/name_u]. It was never my intention to have kids with similar sounding names, however I have been loving the name [name_f]Cassia[/name_f]. But I am afraid that this is too similar to [name_u]Callan[/name_u]. Thought? Is it too close?

They’re similar, but not similar enough to be confused (ie, misheard). If you really love [name_f]Cassia[/name_f], go for it.

I don’t think they’re too similar! I do think it starts a theme of C initials, though, which you may want to keep in mind if you plan on having more than two kids.
Similar but still different enough, I say go for it!

I think they’re different other than the C- and I love both those names but especially [name_f]Cassia[/name_f]!!
No I don’t think so if as @anon68906791 said you don’t mind repeating initials. I think [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] is lovely.
They’re not too similar unless the matching initials would bother you!
