I don’t think [name_m]Connor[/name_m] is going to be the next [name_m]Liam[/name_m] or [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. I can’t really provide any concrete evidence with that, but I just don’t feel like it will. I think [name_m]Connor[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a fantastic choice!
If you really love a name, don’t worry about the popularity. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] are being used for less than 1% of boys. That being said, I prefer the sound of [name_m]Connor[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
[name_m]Connor[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] has a better flow
I prefer [name_m]Callan[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. In my area, [name_u]Conner[/name_u] had a boom 10 yrs ago.
I’m thinking the same for around here. Maybe not, but I grew up with a [name_m]Connor[/name_m] (so I guess that would have put it more like twenty to thirty years ago!), and I know a little girl who is close to about six-ish? Maybe give or take a year. But her name is [name_m]Konner[/name_m]. So I sort of feel like [name_m]Connor[/name_m] is up over the hill and on the way back down again.
I’m not a fan of [name_m]Connor[/name_m] personally–it has everything to do with the [name_m]Connor[/name_m] I grew up with!–and I love [name_m]Callan[/name_m], so, for me, [name_m]Callan[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] it is! I love its sporty, spunky, unusual-but-classy sort of feel. I adore [name_m]Callan[/name_m].
I think of [name_m]Connor[/name_m] as a dated version of [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. I hear it all the time, and usually on kids in the 5-15 age range. I think of it as very 2000s. It also sounds surnamey to me. It’s not bad, just dated and popular and NMS.
I prefer [name_m]Callan[/name_m] by a mile.
