If you like it, go for it. [name]Both[/name] of my kiddos have surnames for first names. I know a lot of berries think that it is trendy or bad, but I didn’t let that stop me.
I love [name]Callaway[/name] for a boy, and am tickled whenever I hear someone is thinking about using it. [name]Callaway[/name] works well as a first name, imo.
If it were a family name for me , there is no way I could NOT use it. It is awesome. And it would go great with one of the classics in your signature. Classic and recognizable but very different and not likely to be duplicated. Fabulous!
I think [name]Callaway[/name] would make an interesting choice in the middle spot for some of the wonderful names in your signature. [name]Even[/name] if it was a surname in my own family, it would remind me too much of caraway seeds so I personally wouldn’t use it for a first name.

I’ve had [name]Callaway[/name] on my list for a girl for years, I love it! I think it’s spunky and stands out but still kind of familiar
I voted for it as a 1st name for a boy or a girl since it is a family name, but I would rather see it as a middle name.
[name]Callaway[/name] is a famous brand of golfing equipment so it doesn’t gel as a child’s name for me.
I think it works as a boys first name, or even better as a middle!
It feels very feminine to me. I know there’s [name]Cal[/name] and [name]Callan[/name] and even [name]Conway[/name], but I think it’s the combination of the [name]Calla[/name] lily and the -y ending in addition to the word “callow”.
I would only use it as a middle, which I think would be lovely.
I like [name]Callaway[/name] as both a fn or mn for a boy. It just doesn’t sound girly to me at all. The nn [name]Cal[/name] would be cute.
Thanks for the feedback! I wish I had formatted the poll differently, but I guess the current format worked just fine…
Unattractive on both, but boy if you must. I’m so over this trend for girls.
I am too. I make exceptions for family names though.
I love [name]Calloway[/name] for a boy. To me it belongs in the same category as [name]Rafferty[/name], [name]Finnegan[/name], [name]Gallagher[/name], etc.
