I’m toying with calling my son by his initials. We know his middle name will be Tadayoshi and our last name start with P and is two syllables.
As an example [name]Leo[/name] Tadayoshi would be L.T.
What letter combination would you prefer with T?
What about [name]Jason[/name] Tadayoshi (JT)
I don’t know about [name]Jason[/name] specifically. In the past DW has nixed J names; but her favorite person in the world, besides me and the boys :), is [name]Justin[/name] Timberlake who is sometimes called JT.
I think it is cool when they use the initials to form another name, ie) [name]Jeb[/name] [name]Bush[/name] ([name]John[/name] [name]Ellis[/name] [name]Bush[/name]). With your ln starting with a P and the mn with a T if you went with and A name you could call him [name]Pat[/name].
With “T” as the second initial I like:
C.T. ([name]Cecil[/name] Tadayoshi?)
J.T. ([name]Julian[/name] Tadayoshi?)
L.T. (I like [name]Leo[/name], as you said - or [name]Luca[/name] Tadayoshi?)
Z.T. ([name]Zachary[/name] Tadayoshi?)
I love J.T most f all initials name out there, considering a JT initials for a son of mine in the future.

My husband just suggested calling our future son by initials… well he thought that would be a a good way to get a nn. He wants DS to have a nn, not just a shortened form of a name, but a “fun” nn. — idk if I like it, but it is worth loking into I think.
I really like Q.T. but it only works for a girl… I am afraid 
L.T. just reminds me of the US football player.
J.T. is sort of boring but good.

I would definitely not do CT since that is a short term for a [name]CAT[/name] Scan and ET is just too much. I have also heard DT standing for Detox and UT can stand for Urinary Tract so those would be some to avoid. OT can stand for Off topic, and ST is an abbreviation for street which may or may not bother you. PT is frequently used in the military for their workouts, and my DH is army so I actually think it is cute! I really like [name]Leo[/name] and I think LT is wonderful! I think JT, QT, RT, TT, and ZT would all be cute too. KT would be nice and have the KT Tunstall connection if you are a fan of hers.
Hmm, well, not E…or M…or Q… I think DT, JT or RT ([name]Artie[/name]) would best.
