Camden nn Annie

To make it more feminine. WDYT? Also, is a sibling had the middle name [name_m]Anson[/name_m], would this be too close? :pensive:

Edited to fix spelling, but nobody has even replied yet. :joy: (Although someone is typing.)

It works, although I don’t think [name_u]Camden[/name_u] needs a nickname like [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t know if that makes sense, but they feel mismatched to me? Like, in my opinion [name_u]Camden[/name_u]’s wow factor is its modern feel, but it loses that with such a vintage nickname.

It’s fine with [name_m]Anson[/name_m] since [name_m]Anson[/name_m] would be a middle.

I also think it works but it doesn’t feel very natural. It might stick, but [name_f]Cammie[/name_f] and [name_u]Denny[/name_u] are a lot more obvious. I don’t think the sibling’s middle name matters!

I think its a cute option. [name_f]Amy[/name_f] or [name_f]Cammi[/name_f]/Cammy would be cute nickname options too. I don’t think [name_m]Anson[/name_m] is too similar to it

I struggle with it, but if you really love it, I guess it works. I just love the nickname [name_f]Cammie[/name_f], though, and I think it makes a perfect cute, feminine nickname.

Annie as a nickname for [name_u]Camden[/name_u] is too far a stretch in my opinion. As others have said [name_f]Cammie[/name_f] is a cute and feminine nickname for it.

I think it works ok. I prefer [name_f]Cammie[/name_f] as a nn for [name_u]Camden[/name_u] though.
Maybe [name_f]Cadie[/name_f] could work too?

Camden nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] works though i think [name_u]Camden[/name_u] nn [name_f]Cammie[/name_f] would be more intuitive

Camden and [name_m]Anson[/name_m] are similar but not unusably so

I personally find it a bit of a stretch. I also don’t think [name_u]Camden[/name_u] is too not-feminine in general – it feels very unisex to me. Another feminine nickname idea I haven’t seen suggested yet is [name_f]Cece[/name_f]/Cici, which I think works for any C name!

Annie for [name_u]Camden[/name_u] doesn’t work for me. Not only does it seem super forced (I’d ask, why not just name her [name_f]Annie[/name_f] if you want [name_f]Annie[/name_f]?) but [name_f]Annie[/name_f] takes away the specialness of [name_u]Camden[/name_u]. [name_f]Cammie[/name_f] is so much cuter, too.

Because I don’t see the point in this parenting style. Nicknames are a term of endearment & I don’t see why some people refuse to call their children by them.

Camden with nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is a little bit of a stretch, but I think it could work. I would expect [name_u]Camden[/name_u] nn [name_f]Cammie[/name_f] before [name_f]Annie[/name_f], but [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is fine. As far as the sibling middle name goes, I don’t think it’s not too close because it’s a first name and a middle name not two first names.

Oh, I have nothing against nicknames at all. I love them and everyone in my family has nicknames. What I was saying is that if you wanted to get [name_f]Annie[/name_f], I don’t think it works coming from [name_u]Camden[/name_u]. It seems very forced, like I said. No offense to you or anyone, just answering the question you asked.

Oh. I like [name_u]Camden[/name_u] more then [name_f]Annie[/name_f] but I feel like it’s pretty masculine, so I just want to feminize it. :upside_down_face:

I agree with previous posters, [name_f]Annie[/name_f] just doesn’t really feel right as a nickname to [name_u]Camden[/name_u] and I personally can’t really see it. I dont feel [name_u]Camden[/name_u] is too masculine at all, but [name_f]Cammie[/name_f] or Cici are some really nice feminine options, which I think are more intuitive than [name_f]Annie[/name_f].

I understand, but I still don’t think [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is natural for a [name_u]Camden[/name_u], and I don’t think [name_u]Camden[/name_u] is too masculine, so it doesn’t need a feminization. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you not like [name_f]Cammie[/name_f]?

I’m not a fan of [name_f]Cammie[/name_f], although [name_u]Cam[/name_u] is nice.
