[name]Hi[/name] Berries,
Came across the name Helisa which is a variant of [name]Helsa[/name] (danish for [name]Elizabeth[/name])…
I would pronounce it like [name]Elyssa[/name] though am not sure
WDYT and how would you pronounce it?

I am from the south, I think I should start by stating that.
I would prn. it Hel-sa, as if it had a soft h sound before the name [name]Elsa[/name].
If you like the name/prn. [name]Elyssa[/name], I would name your daughter [name]Elyssa[/name]!
[name]Hope[/name] this helps!
Helisa looks like a great way to honour grandmothers [name]Helen[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I would pronounce it as I do [name]Elisa[/name], just with and H in front, so hel-eez-a.
I would pronounce it Hel-iss-ah
But if you prefer your pronunciation then I would recommend spelling it without the H.
Sorry my typing mistake…I did mean i’d pronounce it like [name]Elyssa[/name] with an H in front of it ie EXACTLY like you!
I kind of like it…it’s interesting. I have also heard of the name Helicia, which means sun in Sanskrit. I pronounce it like [name]Felicia[/name] and [name]Alicia[/name] but with an H.
