I prefer [name]Camille[/name]. I find it sleek and feminine without the fluff and ruffles. It can work for the girly girl as well as the sports-loving tomboy. I do like [name]Delphine[/name], might even prefer it more than [name]Camille[/name], but I think they go together because of the soft, modern sound they both have.
[name]Camille[/name] just oozes class and sophistication. Its by far my favourite.
[name]Camilla[/name] is my favorite of the three. To me it sounds the most friendly and approachable. [name]Camille[/name] is nice, but it seems a little standoffish and cold in comparison. I like the camellia flowers, but as a name, I think it’s a tad too frilly for me.
I like [name]Camille[/name] better as a MN, but [name]Camilla[/name] better as a FN, so I didn’t vote. haha. I have [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Wren[/name] [name]Camille[/name] on my list, so I obviously love it, but [name]Camilla[/name] just seems more attractive as a FN to me, and I like it better in general. I just thought [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Wren[/name] [name]Camille[/name] sounded better than [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Wren[/name] [name]Camilla[/name]. haha.
Good luck!
I go back and forth for favorite between [name]Camille[/name] and [name]Camellia[/name]. I’m from the southern US so [name]Camellia[/name] just sounds sweet and southern to me. [name]Camille[/name] was a hurricane that did a bit of damage in 69 so I know that’s going to mean a negative reaction from my mom & grandmother.
What are some combos you guys like? I love [name]Camellia[/name] [name]James[/name] but I know dh wouldn’t care for it.
As for frilly, our dd is [name]Gabrielle[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] and that’s quite frilly to me. Sometimes I love her name, sometimes I regret it. I just hope she loves it when she gets older.
Yea [name]Camille[/name] definitely works better for a middle name - I can’t think of one name that would be a good second if [name]Camille[/name] was the first.
[name]Camellia[/name] sounds sweet and southern to me and I think may go better with our dd’s frilly name of [name]Gabrielle[/name] [name]Amelia[/name].
I’m thinking [name]Camille[/name] is my favorite though. She could always go by her second name.
