I am due in [name]November[/name] so I am heavily working on a name. We are not finding out the sex so I am having a hard time coming up with anything that I love! I came across [name]Camille[/name] again and it is starting to grow on me. I have 3 other kids and it seems they need a nickname for everyone so I have been really thinking about that lately. I was thinking either [name]Cami[/name] or [name]Milly[/name] as nickname for [name]Camille[/name]. Are there anyother ones that you have come across. I would like to nip this in the bud before someone starts using a nickname I am not fond of.
[name]Cami[/name] or [name]Milly[/name] would definitely be the most obvious nicknames. You might get a little spelling variation (Camy, [name]Millie[/name]) or maybe [name]Mil[/name] (although the [name]Mil[/name] sound is stronger in [name]Camilla[/name] than in [name]Camille[/name], [name]Camille[/name] I would think [name]Cami[/name] first).
I like [name]Camille[/name] nn [name]Millie[/name].
I knew a [name]Camille[/name] and some people called her (along with the above) [name]Cam[/name] or Cammers. Her mom called her [name]Mimi[/name]. Someone actually recommended [name]Camille[/name] to me today for our expected girls name, without knowing that [name]Camilla[/name] was on my short list.
I like [name]Camille[/name]! It’s a MN on my top 3. I would likely use just [name]Camille[/name], but besides [name]Cam[/name]/[name]Cami[/name] and [name]Millie[/name], I’ve also heard [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Callie[/name].
Good luck!
I think [name]Camille[/name] is cute. It’s a bit of a stretch, but what about [name]Lily[/name] or [name]Cayley[/name]? I know [name]Cayley[/name]'s trendy, but as a nn I don’t think it’s so bad.
I love [name]Camille[/name]. I’d use the nn [name]Milla[/name] if I were to use it.
Me too. I’ve always loved [name]Camille[/name], and would use [name]Cami[/name], [name]Milla[/name] or [name]Mimi[/name].
I love the name [name]Camille[/name]! It is so classy and girly to me : ) I know a few Camilles and none of them go by any nn’s. The only ones I can think of are the two you mentioned.
While I much prefer [name]Camilla[/name] over [name]Camille[/name], I think that [name]Cami[/name] is a very cute nickname for [name]Camille[/name]!
I’ve never heard anyone shorten [name]Camille[/name] but I had to I’d call her [name]Cam[/name]
