We are leaning more towards…
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandrea[/name_f]
But can a middle name be longer than a first or does it look weird?
If it does our other option [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
Absolutely. I’ve never heard of that being considered weird. My middle name is longer letter-wise but the same syllable-wise as my first.
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is my favorite!
My daughter’s middle name is longer than her first name, & no one’s ever said anything to me about it (unlike many other things!)…

I think it depends on your last name. Ideally your last name is 5 or 6 letters, 2 to 3 syllables to balance [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]…
For example, visually i like something like
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] [name_m]Connor[/name_m]
More than
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f]
Or
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] Mcglothlin
Upon reading all those options back though none of them actually sound bad (I think [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is a gorgeous choice!!) so I think what’s most important is how the 3 names sound together, not how they look on paper/ how long the first or middle name is.
Sure! My middle is longer than my first. [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is stunning
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is beautiful. Definitely no problem with having a longer middle name than first!

Thank you everyone!! From the bottom of our hearts! You all helped my husband and I choose our final name for baby girl!
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] Cano arriving in [name_u]July[/name_u]!
I’m glad. I’m [name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and it’s never been an issue. In fact, I love my name.
Of course the middle name can be longer. My daughter’s middle is longer than her first. I’ve never thought twice about it. Your choices are lovely. Good luck.
