Can anyone help sort out this mess???

Hello Nameberry:) Me and hubby are TTC, but we are both planners and love to have things figured out (though the names change, they drive me crazy when they arnt finished lol), however i have run into a bump on choosing/finishing a couple names. First off, i want to incorporate [name]Helena[/name], [name]Jane[/name], and [name]Lorelei[/name] into the two girls names somehow. And for a boys names i want to use [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Shepherd[/name].

The girls name we already have picked out is [name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] _______ last name. So would [name]Helena[/name], [name]Jane[/name], or [name]Lorelei[/name] fit better? or neither. suggestions welcome! The next girls name is pretty much a free for all. The middle name just HAS to be a M or N name. I was thinking [name]Helena[/name] “M or N name” [name]Jane[/name] last name. But im not sure.

For boys i was thinking [name]Jude[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name] last name. Does that sound OK? I’m not sure about [name]Maxwell[/name] fitting in .

Suggestions and opinions please:) and i hope this wasn’t to confusing. Thanks!

I love [name]Caroline[/name]! I think [name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Helena[/name] or [name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Lorelei[/name] would be lovely. I also like:

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Delilah[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]

I love [name]Helena[/name], and [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Helena[/name] are gorgeous together.

[name]Helena[/name] [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Miranda[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Helena[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Miranda[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Helena[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Matilda[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Maura[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Naomi[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Nora[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

Other names you might like:

[name]Jude[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name] sounds fine. What about:

[name]Jude[/name] [name]Matthias[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name]
[name]Jude[/name] [name]Alistair[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name]
[name]Jude[/name] [name]Henry[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name]
[name]Jude[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name]

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] is so pretty! Personally, I think [name]Lorelai[/name] fits the best, as [name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Jane[/name] sounds a little disjointed, and [name]Carline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Helena[/name] is a little harder to say. [name]Lorelai[/name] has such an easy flow that it works well.

So, [name]Caroline[/name] [name]May[/name] [name]Lorelai[/name] and [name]Helena[/name] ______ [name]Jane[/name].

M or N names that you may like (I think two or three syllables work best, personally) :
[name]Marjorie[/name] (I’ve recently fallen in love with this one a little)

[name]Jude[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name] is very handsome, and sounds great. I find that one syllable first names are hard to flow on from, anyway, but if you’re willing to swap [name]Maxwell[/name] I think a three-syllable name might be good instead.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Maximus[/name]? I love the suggestion of [name]Mathias[/name], too, or perhaps [name]Matheo[/name]. [name]Nathaniel[/name] is very handsome, as well (I’m guessing the boy also needs an M or N middle?).

Good luck!

Thanks! Hubby agreed to [name]Lorelei[/name], which i was very excited about, however he was quick to nix [name]BOTH[/name] [name]Helena[/name] and [name]Jane[/name]! He wants to use [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Miranda[/name] _________. Which i like, [name]Bridget[/name] was one of my favorite names as a young child/teen. But we dont have a 2nd middle. I was thinking maybe [name]Katherine[/name]?

As for [name]Jude[/name] i about cried haha, hubby said absolutely not to [name]Jude[/name],- whats so bad about [name]Jude[/name]? I didn’t get it but he wasn’t budging. :frowning: he said ok to [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name], but to pick a diffrent first name, which made me sad because [name]Jude[/name] went so well with the other names we had picked (boys names- [name]Gerard[/name], [name]Matthew[/name], [name]Pierce[/name], and [name]Jude[/name]-great huh? lol). So im on the hunt for names like [name]Jude[/name].

As for [name]Nathaniel[/name], thats hubby’s middle, already be used by a future child. lol :)And [name]Maximus[/name] sounds like a name i could like, but but all i hear is Gluteus [name]Maximus[/name]. I guess thats the nurse in training :stuck_out_tongue: I like [name]Montgomery[/name] and [name]Melbourne[/name], however hubby said “i dont want my children having stupid names”! :frowning:

So sad about [name]Helena[/name], [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Jude[/name]! [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Miranda[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] is a great, classic name, though - [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Miranda[/name] [name]Kate[/name] would also be nice.

Some suggestions to replace [name]Jude[/name] (names which give me the same vibe) :
[name]Luca[/name] ([name]Luca[/name], [name]Lucas[/name])
[name]Toby[/name] ([name]Tobias[/name])
[name]Finn[/name] ([name]Finnian[/name], [name]Finley[/name], [name]Finnigan[/name], Phinneus)
[name]Piers[/name] (way too similar to [name]Pearce[/name], though).

Good luck!
