Can Autumn be a boys name?

I am still struggling with coming up with a unique name for my third boy who will be born in 5 weeks…!
The older two boys are [name]Cole[/name] and [name]Beckett[/name]…and i thought it would be cute to pick a great A name.

I think [name]Autumn[/name] would be amazing for a boy…but see it listed as only a girls name. Am i just starting to lose it?? ha.

I love the name [name]August[/name] but know a “gussie” and an “augie” (both adults) that aren’t really nice people so i have that association and am not sure i can get past it… [name]Atlas[/name] and [name]Atticus[/name] have been in our wheelhouse but I’m afraid to pull the trigger for some unknown reason.

Technically, since [name]Autumn[/name] is a season, it is unisex. Personally, I would advise against using it for a boy. [name]Autumn[/name] was the No# 69 most popular GIRLS name last year in the US (that’s 3,740 girls). It’s just one season that’s always been pretty feminine (like [name]Summer[/name]). [name]Even[/name] [name]Winter[/name]/[name]Wynter[/name] is pretty girly now. No one really chooses [name]Spring[/name]. Too bad you don’t like [name]August[/name]. Here are some “A” boys names.

I think it’s just too well-known as a female name to really be unisex.

I don’t mind [name]Autumn[/name] for a boy. It’s not at all feminine sounding to me but the girls have bogarted it. However I do think the name is too soft to fit with [name]Cole[/name] & [name]Beckett[/name]

[name]Autumn[/name] is far too feminine for me, so I’d avoid it. [name]August[/name] is lovely, too, though, and I really like [name]Atlas[/name], but I also have a lot of favorite boy A names-

Yes I like it on a boy. I think ANY season can be a boys name. I love [name]Summer[/name] as well on a boy.
