I think [name_f]Emme[/name_f] can certainly stand on its own! Less confident about [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] though.
I think so maybe a long middle name would help?
I know they are pronounced the same but for me, [name_f]Emme[/name_f] looks like a formal name which stands well on its own, and [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] looks like a nickname. I love [name_f]Emme[/name_f]!
