Can Esther be a girly girl? Help please!

[name]Hi[/name] everyone I have always loved the name [name]Esther[/name] and the way it looks and I [name]ADORE[/name] the nickname [name]Essie[/name], but I was wondering if the name is too harsh, names like [name]Rosalie[/name] and [name]Annabelle[/name] sound beautiful and girl where as [name]Esther[/name] much more masculine and straight forward, could you imagine a girly girl [name]Esther[/name]? Or do you only imagine a studious lawyer? Also would she feel left out if her sisters had names like [name]Scarlett[/name] or [name]Lucille[/name] or [name]Vivienne[/name]?? Would she be the odd one out?
Opinions please!!
Thank you

I can definitely picture [name]Esther[/name] as a girly girl. There is an old musical called Meet Me in St. [name]Louis[/name], where the main character (played by [name]Judy[/name] [name]Garland[/name]) is named [name]Esther[/name]. She is 16 and definitely feminine and sweet. I love that movie  [name]Esther[/name] is a beautiful name in my opinion.

The nickname [name]Essie[/name] is nice, but [name]Lucille[/name], [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Vivienne[/name] are all much better names than [name]Esther[/name]. They are pretty and age well, while [name]Esther[/name] is more of a crusty, old-lady name. I realize lots of vintage names are coming back in style, but there are some names that will not shed its elderly image for a long time and I think [name]Esther[/name] is one of them.

I love the name [name]Esther[/name]. To me she is all girly girl. Her name fits perfectly with the others you mentioned. The biblical [name]Esther[/name] was a beautiful queen of [name]Persia[/name]. And the one [name]Esther[/name] I know in real life is an example of feminine loveliness. I would use this name in a heartbeat if I could get DH on board.

I am currently adoring [name]Esther[/name]. I feel [name]Ethel[/name] is more girly, with a similar feel. But I could 100% imagine [name]Esther[/name] on a girly girl.

I had a friend called [name]Esther[/name] nn [name]Essie[/name]. She was/still is absolutely beautiful and very feminine. She made me like the name!
