Can I still use Isadora?

We have a little niece who we see most days called [name]Isabella[/name] (goes by both [name]Issy[/name] and [name]Bella[/name])
I’ve always loved [name]Isadora[/name] but for our first child we crossed it off due to the similar [name]Isa[/name] beginning! Lately though I’ve been thinking that the two little cousins could coexist quite happily (our little [name]Isadora[/name] would go by [name]Sadie[/name]…which also honours me [name]Sarah[/name] or [name]Zora[/name]) [name]Do[/name] you think they are too close

Combos I like are:
[name]Isadora[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name]
[name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Isadora[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Isadora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]

Any thought on these? Which is your favourite?

I think that it’s okay. [name]Isadora[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] would be fine together, as long as they aren’t sisters. [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] is my absolute favorite from your lovely list.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] or [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]?

I think that [name]Isadora[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] are fine as cousins especially if they aren’t both being called the same nicknames. From your combs my favorites are [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name].

As long as they don’t have the same nicknames. I actually know three cousins who all had names starting [name]Anne[/name]. It worked.

[name]Isadora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] is my favorite.

I think using [name]Isadora[/name] is absolutely fine. I was thinking of naming a future daughter [name]Isadora[/name] and my name is [name]Isabelle[/name].

[name]Isadora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] is my favorite from your list. Although I do like [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] as well since [name]Ruby[/name] is my mum’s name!

[name]Isadora[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name] is adorable!! I’ve always loved the nickname [name]Sadie[/name] on [name]Isadora[/name]. I think they would work fine together. [name]Don[/name]'t worry at all.

Isabellemarie… [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] would be such a gorgeous way to honour you and your mum  good to see people think [name]Isadora[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] could coexist happily alongside each other! I thought choosing between [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Theodora[/name] was hard ( 2 other favourites on my list!!) but now with [name]Isadora[/name] back in the mix it will be even harder to make a decision… Arragh… It’s such a beautiful name and I like the way it flows with my favourite middle names!!! Finding the feedback on middles really helpful as I love them all!!

I think it’s okay, but from personal experience, I wouldn’t do it. My sister in law named her daughter [name]Nora[/name], and then her younger sister chose to name her son (a year later), [name]Noah[/name]. It’s brought up from time to time that the younger one “copied” the older one.

I’m pretty sure they do it in a teasing/joking matter, but they NEVER bring it up around her (that would be awkward)

So basically the family got over it, but I don’t think I’d like the idea of having it be a “joke” behind my back…

I think it’s fine as long as it’s not [name]Isabella[/name] and [name]Isabel[/name] or something a lot more similar than [name]Isadora[/name]! I love [name]Isadora[/name], by the way! From your list, my favorite combos are [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name].

[name]Isadora[/name] is a great name (I’m biased though!).

I think it is probably fine to use, as long as you mention it to [name]Isabella[/name]'s parents first. Let them know in advance that you have loved the name [name]Isadora[/name] for a long time and that you want to use it. I’m sure they will understand, and appreciate the heads-up, rather than a surprise.

I think it is fine, if you have different nn’s (which it looks like you do).

Not an issue at all. [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name] is my favorite. I love the whimsical [name]Bluebell[/name] next to the stately [name]Isadora[/name].

I think they’re different enough! We love our little, [name]Isadora[/name] but we don’t have an [name]Isabella[/name] in our family to worry about. Good luck! I think [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] is my favorite pair.

I think [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Bluebell[/name] is soo pretty! I think it’d be fine as long as they don’t go by the same nickname.

I think [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Bluebelle[/name] are both lovely!

I think it’s fine, but I would chat with the [name]Isabella[/name]'s parents, just give them a little warning that I was considering a similar name. I do love [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name].

I like the name [name]Isadora[/name], it’s a pretty alternative to the much too popular name [name]Isabella[/name]. [name]Just[/name] make sure that [name]Isabella[/name]'s parents don’t get offended. I think they could be fine together, especially if you use a nickname. My favorite name on your list is [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]. Good luck!
