I have loved the name [name]Noel[/name] for awhile now, but it just occurred to me that it might not be good to use with my last name which is [name]Chance[/name]. Is that too much like No [name]Chance[/name]? Is that bad? I’m NOT preggo, just had baby girl in [name]Jan[/name]. I dont even know if we will have any more kids. [name]Just[/name] thinking ahead.
I think it depends on how you say [name]Noel[/name]. I’ve heard both [name]NOLE[/name] and noh-[name]EL[/name]–I think the noh-[name]EL[/name] sounds is more usable because you can hear more of a difference between [name]Noel[/name] [name]Chance[/name] and No [name]Chance[/name]… maybe it’d be better as a MN? Something like [name]Spencer[/name] [name]Noel[/name]?
Yeah, for a boy I prefer the nole prn, emphasis on the no part, rather than the el. I don’t know how I didn’t think of this before! A little sad… I like [name]Spencer[/name] [name]Noel[/name] tho.
If you are using the [name]Nole[/name] pronunciation I would not do it. With the emphasis on No it really stands out for me as No chance.
I wouldn’t do that. It does sound like No [name]Chance[/name].
I wouldn’t do it
Okay, thanks for your input! I think y’all are right.
