[name_f]Louise[/name_f] is a family name and I want to use it but I’m not super fond of it. All my kids have L names so it had to be the first name and I’ve decided to use [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] but I would like a nickname and I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] can it be a nickname for [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]?
I think so. It’s a bit odd since they are unrelated names, but the sounds are there, so it’s not really much of a stretch.
Yes it could defiantly work but I cannot stand the name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f] are such prettier nicknames for [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] : )
I could see [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] becoming a nickname for [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] organically ([name_f]Louisa[/name_f] to [name_u]Lou[/name_u]/[name_f]Lu[/name_f] to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]), so I don’t see a problem with it. Is it my favorite nickname for [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]? No. I much prefer [name_f]Lulu[/name_f].
