I’ve always had a soft spot for Sebastian “Seb”, but realistically I’d never use such a long first name. I’ve considered Bastian, but I just can’t quite get on board.
Seb on the other hand - I’m rather warming to it. It has a lovely, gentle simplicity to it I think. Perhaps a bit artsy. It brings to mind “ebb and flow” or “web”, which adds to the soft, almost naturey vibe.
I could see it paired with a range of long, romantic names too.
I do think it would work! It’s pretty cute. I do prefer it as a nickname for the lovely [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], but I think it could do on its own nicely.
How funny, I too was considering this earlier! I think it can definitely work as a stand-alone name. Sure it’s a bit short, but so are many other names, and they work just fine!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! Something like [name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], [name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Aurelien[/name_m], [name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] or [name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] would be brilliant.
[name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Aurelian[/name_m] was my very first thought! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the sound of [name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] and [name_m]Seb[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], too.
I really like [name_m]Seb[/name_m] as a standalone first. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the soft, quirky vibes. I’m guessing most people will assume a [name_m]Seb[/name_m] is actually a [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], but as that shouldn’t cause much trouble I think it’s a lovely choice as a full name.
