Honestly I have no idea why I have an obsessions with names or why I like to create names but I do and to be quite honest It can annoy the heck out of people but I can’t help it maybe it’s due to how creative I am but I don’t what should I do.

Probably the same reason why people love to read, draw, or any other hobbies. They just interest you and there isn’t really a big reason why. I love learning new names and making a list for future kids… It’s just who I am. It doesn’t really matter where the interest came from, but its just what you like.
All of us here at Nameberry have the same question lol, but it really isn’t a big deal where the interest started. Everyone is different and everyone has different interests and hobbies

Maybe I just need to cool it when the constant what do you think of this name or that but I don’t know it’s like I have to tell somebody when I create something new like a name or something

I think it depends on the person! Some people are interested in language and name meanings, some people are just curious about them and enjoy making lists. I think it’s just like any other hobby, but I definitely think being creative is a big part of it.
I need to learn to stifle that creativity it’s not like I can make a career out of creating baby names and brand names

I wouldn’t say you need to stifle your creativity - it is fun just having a hobby sometimes, you don’t have to make it into a career. For instance, I love painting but I know I’ll never be an artist professionally, I just do it because it’s fun. I think as long as you enjoy it, it is time well spent 
And who knows, maybe you will be able to make it into a career someday!

But is it even possible to have a career where I just create baby names or brand names I’m pretty sure theirs no firm that specialize in creating brand names or baby names but I did remember hearing that if your obsessed with something it’s what you’re meant to do

I don’t really know, but I started because I disliked my name so I wanted to find beautiful names to like, comfort myself more, but it became an actual hobby about history, etymology, other cultures… Now I enjoy learning about names from all the world!
sure, sometimes hobbies can grow into careers - even with names. I’ve seen quite a few people who have name consultancies which they charge money for, it’s not usually a full time job, but maybe that’s something you could look into if you were interested? but if you enjoy it as a hobby then there’s nothing wrong with keeping it as a hobby

Lots of people have YouTube and other social media channels about names and some (like SJ Strum for example) have built careers out of it. If you build a large enough following you could eventually charge for consultancy, but I agree with what others have said, just engage with it for fun and see what happens.
I think a lot of us who like names are also into things like history and mythology, other creative pursuits like writing or drawing, we are generally quite sensitive souls. It’s a lovely crowd to be a part of imho
