I’m definitely going for one of these first name and middle name combinations however I’m torn between the two. I wasn’t sure how to create a poll but would be grateful to hear which you prefer. I’m not looking for negative opinions on either as I like both regardless of any associations you may have😃.
Celine is a little more soft and elegant, whilst [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] has always felt dark and powerful. I think I prefer the vibe of [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] here, but only by a small amount.
This is exactly the way I feel about them both! [name_f]Celine[/name_f] is softer but there’s something classic and strong about [name_f]Bridget[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Celine[/name_f] to [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], but [name_f]Celine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] doesn’t flow as nicely as [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Celine[/name_f] would.
I like the sound of [name_f]Celine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] more, but I really prefer [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] as a first name so I’m going with [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
I love the first name [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] but it’s climbing up the charts so fast and I’m a Primary School teacher. Trying to pick names that aren’t common @Etymology.
Both [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and [name_f]Celine[/name_f] are great names! I personally prefer [name_f]Celine[/name_f], however I think [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] flows better than [name_f]Celine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I voted for [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] because of that. Bridget is also less common than Celine, so that lowers the chance you’d be teaching one (still totally possible to end up knowing 3 little Bridget’s & no Celine’s though )
Bridget [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is wonderful! I love the balance between the bright, energetic sounds of [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and the sweet, vintage charm of [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I also love that [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] feels familiar yet underused–it’s recognizable and everyone will know how to say/spell it, but she wouldn’t be likely to share her name with other little girls. It also doesn’t really sound like anything else, which helps it feel distinctive. I don’t know if you like nicknames, but another factor for me is that I prefer the options that come with [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]–[name_f]Bee[/name_f], [name_f]Birdie[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f], or maybe even [name_u]Jet[/name_u]! I think it’s the kind of name that would easily avoid nicknames if you prefer not to use one, but there are options if you do. Overall, I think you have two great choices here (and I adore [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] as a middle either way!). But [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] gets my vote!
Thank you☺️. I think in [name_u]Scotland[/name_u] people would assume the [name_f]Celine[/name_f] spelling due to the strong associations with the brand and also singer @skylerros.
I love [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]! That’s such a lovely balance of sweetness & sporty-ness. [name_f]Celine[/name_f] is just kind of meh to me. It’s not terrible, but it’s not nearly as charming as [name_f]Bridget[/name_f].
Thank you . There were 2 babies named [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] in my country last year and 6 named [name_f]Celine[/name_f] so they’re both quite unused here. Are there any middle names that you think flow better with [name_f]Celine[/name_f] if we chose to go with that @futuremama ?
