1-2: we like the mix of classic and vintage with these options. But slightly worried about [name_f]Violet[/name_f] being too trendy/popular now. Nn ideas of V, [name_f]Vi[/name_f] or [name_f]Lettie[/name_f].
3-5: LOVE [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] but also concerned about rising popularity of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] variation names. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a middle name seems to be trendy too so I truly prefer it as a first name. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as a middle name here feels a bit much? Two colors and two flowers in one name. Also our last name begins with R so we have alliteration there (which I think is ok now) but just something to consider. Nn ideas of [name_f]Ro[/name_f], [name_f]Roe[/name_f], [name_f]Sally[/name_f], [name_u]Lee[/name_u].
I really enjoy [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a first name. Nn idea of [name_f]Janey[/name_f]. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] it doesn’t feel too plain to baby though. And hard to predict it’s budding popularity over the next decades.
It’s hard when the trendy vintage names are the ones I like! I’ve looked through thousands of names. If there’s anything though that feels related/similar but less trendy, please feel free to offer suggestions! I just don’t want baby to be one of 5 people named the same in her class growing up. It feels like names lose their spark that way when overdone.
I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! I like all your [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] combos best.
I agree with you, [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is definitely the most popular option, though [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Julia[/name_f] is lovely!
Maybe you like [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]? It’s a shorter form of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and it’s less popular.
Jane [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is stunning!! That one gets my vote for sure. Besides, [name_f]Jane[/name_f] would feel very fresh and classy as a fn for a girl today. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.
All are great choices!!
I think my favourite might be [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] doesn’t feel plain - it feels classic and it’s actually quite refreshing on a baby! It’s not something new or vintage, but something well-established and traditional, so I don’t see it climbing up the popularity list too quickly. It hits that sweet spot where it’s very familiar, but not overdone and she probably won’t know other [name_f]Janes[/name_f] her age. [name_f]Janey[/name_f] is adorable and so so sweet as well.
[name_f]My[/name_f] second favourite would be [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]!
I totally see your concern, & I like that you’re realistic about it. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is a darling name, but it is getting popular. I don’t think that [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is getting as popular, but it is moving up the charts. Maybe [name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]? [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]?
Jane seems like your best bet if you’re worried about a name getting too trendy. And I don’t think it’s too plain. Especially with the cute nn of [name_f]Janey[/name_f]. Or [name_f]Janie[/name_f]? [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] has a beautiful flow & brightens up [name_f]Jane[/name_f] a little bit. I like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] too.
I’ll try to suggest a small handful of not too common vintage ideas that you may like:
My favorite for you is [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] followed by [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. I would try not to worry too much about how popular the name will be in the next decade since you literally cannot know that lol. I wouldn’t consider any of these names trendy.
There’s something about [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] that is so stunning to me.
Violet is one of my favorite names though but I dont like combining flower names so I guess I’d pick [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] actually! [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is also really pretty.
