So our current top 3 are:
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]- my husband’s favorite and I love it too except that I have a hard time envisioning an adult woman with this name. It just doesn’t sound professional to me, it sounds like a cute baby/little girl, maybe a sweet teenager but a woman? I’m not sure…
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]- [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name and it was our front runner but it seems like it’s becoming super popular lately? Worried it will be in the top 20 soon with how trendy it is right now.
Lakely- [name_u]Love[/name_u] how unusual this name is and I think it’s gorgeous but when I mention it to other people I get very mixed reactions. I don’t want to pick a name that most people won’t like or think is just odd. People have told me it sounds like [name_u]Blakely[/name_u] or Lately but I’m not sure that bothers me all that much.
Thoughts?
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] is my favorite. I love it, and it would be on my list too if my husband didn’t veto it. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] can work for an adult! To me, [name_f]Willow[/name_f] fits along the lines of classic nature based names like [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], but is much fresher. By the time this generation of children grow up, many judges, lawyers, and presidents will be named things like [name_u]Legend[/name_u] and [name_f]Makayla[/name_f]. It’s the person that makes the name, not vice versa. [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is also nice.
I think you should go with [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is such an adorable name. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] on [name_f]Buffy[/name_f] the Vampire Slayer makes the name not just adorable for a baby.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]!!
I like [name_f]Willow[/name_f] the best.
Hmmmmm…
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] - I really like it and I think it works for a women. But I would actually say it’s more trendy currently then [name_u]Everly[/name_u] (it’s one of those names like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] where everyone thinks it’s less popular then it is). If trendiness bothers you I suggest not.
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] = [name_u]Love[/name_u] but I agree with you that I think it will hit the top 20 soonish. Probably by the time this baby is in 2nd grade.
Lakely. Lakely whilst has nice visuals would be much easier to understand as Lakelyn , [name_u]Laken[/name_u] or just [name_u]Lake[/name_u].
When compiling this list I realised what would be the perfect name for you - [name_f]Holly[/name_f]. It’s a nature name like [name_f]Willow[/name_f] but is more tried and true and isn’t too trendy. And it also has the ending like [name_u]Everly[/name_u] and Lakely you like.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] is my favorite, but I also like [name_u]Everly[/name_u].
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] is the only one of those I like, and it will seem to be a name of this decade, but so many names are it’s not necessarily a problem.
[name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_u]Tully[/name_u]
[name_f]Evie[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_u]Tierney[/name_u]
[name_u]Finley[/name_u]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]
Airlie
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]
[name_u]Adair[/name_u]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] is gorgeous. Of your list, it’s actually the one I can best picture on a grown woman. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] and Lakely feel very “young” right now, because they share that super-popular (esp. in the last 5-10 years) “lee” ending.
I have an adult friend called [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and she only receives positive comments on her name
I like Lakely its unusual but not too out there.
