I am thinking about having a baby’s name start with a G ( soft g) and the middle name start with a J. I think that combination is super pretty.
I have a very close friend named [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] which I love. I wouldn’t want to copy any of those names but the combination I LOVE.
The only thing I came up with was
•Gianna [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (the nickname would be Gia) ( or are the two names sound to similar?)

Yes, I do think Gianna and Jane are too similar for a combo. Not only do they sound similar, but Gianna is a feminine derivation of the Italian form of John, which is also where Jane comes from. So they are essentially different versions of the same name.
