I’ve been all over the place with boy #3 names…
Currently considering [name_m]Wes[/name_m]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it works as a stand-alone name? I really prefer 1 syllable names & big bros are: [name_m]Grant[/name_m] & [name_u]Reid[/name_u].
Still taking other suggestions too! Down to 1 month…
I don’t think this is one that can stand alone. I don’t know why it just feels incomplete.
I think it could work, I have [name_m]Seb[/name_m], [name_u]Sol[/name_u] and [name_u]Gus[/name_u] on my list so I’m a big fan of a shortened name! But if you’re not sure, how about [name_m]Wells[/name_m] instead?
Wes can absolutely stand on it’s own! It reminds me of names like Max, Sam, and Gus. I think it works as both a nickname or on it’s own!
My only concern is some people might think it’s short for something like Wesley or Weston. If that doesn’t bother you though, you should use it!
I think Wes is so handsome and sweet, and it fits perfectly with Grant & Reid!

[name_m]Wes[/name_m] works perfectly fine on its own, think [name_m]Wes[/name_m] [name_u]Bentley[/name_u] or [name_m]Wes[/name_m] [name_u]Anderson[/name_u]. 
Another yes here. I love short standalones: [name_u]Gus[/name_u], [name_m]Sid[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u] come to mind straight away. [name_m]Wes[/name_m] fits right in with those.

I personally think any nickname can be a stand alone because why not? [name_m]Wes[/name_m] is great and fits right in with [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_u]Gus[/name_u], [name_u]Lee[/name_u], [name_u]Bo[/name_u]/Beau, etc.
I think [name_m]Wes[/name_m] works well on its own–as others have said, it fits in with [name_u]Max[/name_u]/Gus/etc., and it has a nice strong sound. I also really like @floatinthesky’s suggestion of [name_m]Wells[/name_m], if you do decide you’d like an alternative.
Yes, I believe it can stand on its own! [name_m]Wes[/name_m] is a short but strong name. It sounds really good with the big brothers’ names.
