[name]Hi[/name] all,
We don’t know sex of our baby yet, 19 weeks today!! We have narrowed our choices to the following:
Boy:
[name]Noah[/name] [name]Stephen[/name] (we just like the name [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Stephen[/name] is after my brother)
Girl:
[name]Lauren[/name] [name]Serena[/name] ([name]Lauren[/name] after my sister who died as an infant and [name]Serena[/name] after my half sister who I only recently found)
[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Serena[/name] (just love the name [name]Ruby[/name] but O.H isn’t convinced)
[name]Lauren[/name] is fairly popular where I live but not enough so to deter me, I know [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] are very popular in the rest of the English speaking world but they are yet to make it into the top 10 here in [name]Ireland[/name].
I chose names that should be easy to pronounce in various parts of the world because even though I love Irish names like [name]Oisin[/name] and [name]Saoirse[/name], there is a strong possibility we will have to emigrate to Australia if the economy remains in the tank so I don’t want to saddle the child with a name nobody can pronounce.
Any opinions or suggestions in a similar vein would be appreciated!
