Can you give me your opinion on these "feminine" boy names?

What are your thoughts on these feminine / unisex boy names? Thank you!

I prefer [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy, and I really like it! It is the only one of the 3 I would use only for a boy. I feel there are other options like [name_m]Kellen[/name_m], [name_u]Killian[/name_u], [name_u]Kyler[/name_u], etc instead of [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] for a boy that I like better. I don’t hate [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] for either gender, but I don’t love it either.

I prefer [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] for a boy! And I think [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] works too. I only really like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] out of this three tho

Sidney and Morgan are lovely! Morgan is especially cute! Kelsey seems much more like a girly name to me. Plus it’s just not my favorite name, personally!

I love [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u], I‘m not a big fan of [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] though

[name_u]Sidney[/name_u] strikes me (as a Brit) as 100% male. I find it very clunky-cool old fashioned, and while I don’t personally much like it, it’s definitely usable and I’ve met small Sidneys/Sids.

[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is lovely for either sex, but I particularly like it for a boy. It’s got a warm, earthy, laid-back vibe to me.

[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] is my least favourite of the list. I just don’t love the sound of the name, it feels dated but not yet stylishly so, and I’d definitely expect a [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] to be female. It’s wearable for a boy though — Kel or Kes are cool for short!

[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] is really unexpected on a boy but I enjoy it!

[name_u]Sidney[/name_u] has vintage, clunky charm

[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] feels soft but strong and i like the meaning

[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] - [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] is a girl name for me, but I won’t stop you from using it for a boy.

[name_u]Sidney[/name_u] - I knew a boy named [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] once so I think it works! I do prefer [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] for a girl though.

[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] - Cute for a boy! This name is very gender neutral to me.

I think these are all great for boys!

  • [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] is one of my all-time favorite boy names.
  • I know of at least one guy at my university named [name_u]Sidney[/name_u], and it leans more masculine to me in general.
  • [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] is probably the most feminine-leaning of this list – I like it, but I could see it being the most surprising on a boy and not much liked by many others. (But there is [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] Grammar, so it’s not like it hasn’t been worn perfectly well by a man.)

I love [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] for boys!!!

I love [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy (and I actually don’t like it for a girl), it’s slowly making its way to my own list of favorites, still trying to find the right combo though!

[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] is also a nice choice, might be an unexpected choice for a boy these days but I think it works! I love Kel as a possible nickname.

Not a fan of [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] personally but it’s completely usable too, I do prefer it for a boy.

I prefer [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy, and I’ve known many boys/men named [name_u]Morgan[/name_u].

[name_u]Sidney[/name_u] could work for a boy, though I think there’s a high chance it’ll be shortened to [name_u]Sid[/name_u]. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to consider.

[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] feels too feminine to me for a boy. I think [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] can work fairly well for a boy, though.

I love [name_u]Sidney[/name_u]! I see [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] as the girls version.

Generally Im not a fan of unisex names for boys, or girls.

I actually prefer all of these for boys lol! I think that the -ey looks so masculine.

I actually know more male Morgan’s and Sidney’s than I do females

I know all three of these names as boys personally. [name_u]Sidney[/name_u], [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] on a boy, far more than on a girl. Honestly, I think all of these are fresher and more charming on boys than on girls!

This is coming from someone who loves the name [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] for a boy though, so that may need to be taken with a grain of salt

I love [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a boy. Not big on the other two for either gender and definitely wouldn’t give them to a boy since they’re definitely seen as feminine where I am at least for children being born now (well it would be spelled [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] for a girl, but it’s the same sound). [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] I would be hesitant to use for the same reason, but I would consider it for a middle, and I think it’s seen as more unisex than the other two

I like them all. I think [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] are better because both the female versions were trendy. I like [name_u]Sid[/name_u] as a name so I would go with thay.

I really like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] for boys. I don’t like [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] for a boy.
