Well, 16 days ago our little girl has arrived, thanks to nameberry we decided to name her [name_f]Davina[/name_f] as we thought it sounded beautiful, had a beautiful meaning and you berries also thought sounded better with our last name. At first, we thought about the nicknames [name_f]Nina[/name_f], D and [name_m]Davey[/name_m], but even though we are probably get her some nicknames as she grows up, I wanted to have something unique to call her sometimes, as we already call her bubble but I’m pretty sure she won’t like it when she grows up. lol
Bubble is sweet and as you get to know [name_f]Davina[/name_f] better I am sure Nicknames will come naturally! Personally I immediately thought of [name_u]Dove[/name_u] or Dovey, which would both work BEAUTIFULLY for any age! [name_f]Davina[/name_f] is a lovely Name by the way!

And I kinda like the idea of [name_f]Diva[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Davina[/name_f], but that might be hard to pull off without a certain personality.

[name_m]Davey[/name_m] because I adore male sounding nnames for gloriously feminine girls names.
[name_f]Vina[/name_f] because it seems the most obvious from where the word stress falls on [name_f]Davina[/name_f] and I love ‘V’ sounds. Maybe start with Veve to Veenie to [name_f]Vina[/name_f]?
@meg_muffin’s [name_f]Diva[/name_f] is ingenious but as she suggests (I agree) it maybe teaseworthy.
Otherwise I only can suggest [name_f]Dina[/name_f] or [name_f]Daina[/name_f].

Though I personally like Tani as a girl name (could be nickname as well). I have named my daughter as Tani which means sweat heart. And so who ever asks me I suggest them Tani as a baby girl name.
