I’d love to honor a very special person, [name_f]Terri[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u]. I’ve done some basic searching and I don’t like the parent name [name_f]Teresa[/name_f]/[name_f]Theresa[/name_f]. I’d love the name to be connected either in meaning or sound to the first name [name_f]Terri[/name_f] (preferable) or the middle name [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] (this might be easier). Any ideas on how to successfully pull this off?
Some variations that have a little more charm and spunk: [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], tress, [name_f]Tea[/name_f], [name_f]Thea[/name_f]. ([name_f]Thea[/name_f] is a favorite of mine.)
As for as [name_f]Lynne[/name_f]: [name_f]Lynette[/name_f], [name_f]Lynell[/name_f], [name_f]Ellyn[/name_f].
[name_f]Do[/name_f] any of those work?
I feel like I have an aversion to T names. I don’t love any of those you mentioned. And I don’t really like “y”'s in my names. I feel very difficult.
Well, [name_f]Theresa[/name_f]/ [name_f]Teresa[/name_f] means “harvest…”
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]- means “farmer”
[name_f]Persephone[/name_f]- was the goddess of the harvest
[name_f]Gaia[/name_f]- earth goddess
[name_f]Rhea[/name_f]- also earth goddess
What was [name_f]Terri[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u]'s birth month? [name_m]Favorite[/name_m] flower? etc That might be easier and more logical.
Thanks, I think that might be a really good way to approach it, @mulme944. I’ll look into the birth month/flower/etc. My favorite is [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] from your list.
