We are 10 days away from our due date with #3, gender unknown, and hubby and I are still going around in circles with names. If a boy we have had [name]Roman[/name] on the list for a while, then the other night [name]Rocco[/name] was brought to the table and then tonight hubby suggested Maz but can’t seem to find origin or meaning of the name.
We are [name]New[/name] Zealanders currently living in Australia and we know the name Maz from Maz [name]Quinn[/name] who is a surfer in NZ.
FYI we have a son and daughter already, named [name]Moses[/name] and [name]Violet[/name].
If Button is a girl we only have [name]Beatrix[/name] on our list but not sure if it is right.
We have thought our naming style is vintage-quirky and we also like strong names but have been looking further afield as Button will be here soon and we don’t want him/her to be nameless!
If anyone can shed some light on the name Maz for us that would be great and also if you have any other suggestions for either gender please feel free … suggest away
I love the name [name]Mazarine[/name] nn maz! [name]Mazarine[/name] is a quirky French colour name…which would subtly compliment violet! I do love [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name] together though!
[name]Just[/name] to clarify sorry I was suggesting [name]Mazarine[/name] for a girl not a boy! I think Maz on a would be cool as a nn for either sex but only as a short form for something else… I’m not really keen on it as a name in itself! It could work for any name beginning with Ma name I guess, especially in Australia!!
