[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I have a list of names we like, but none that we both[name_f][/name_f] love. We like [name_f]Esme[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] and [name_f]Maxine[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] but they have been on our list for years and we have the feeling that they are getting boring. We both like [name_f]Brune[/name_f][name_f][/name_f], but we don’t know if it really works well in [name_f]English[/name_f], and [name_f]Prune[/name_f][name_f][/name_f], but we are aware this one is even worse than [name_f]Brune[/name_f]. There is [name_f]Alba[/name_f][name_f][/name_f], too popular in [name_f]France[/name_f] or [name_f]Billie[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] (not as a first name). Last one our list is [name_f]Ada[/name_f][name_f][/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f]He doesn’t like [name_f]Thelma[/name_f][name_f][/name_f], [name_f]Colette[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] or [name_f]Anouk[/name_f][name_f][/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] last crush is [name_f]Roma[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f] and he thinks [name_f]Roma[/name_f] tomatoes. [name_f][/name_f]He loves [name_f]Freya[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] (I think it’s alright but on our kids? I’m not sure), [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] or [name_f]Artemis[/name_f][name_f][/name_f] (which I really do not like).
[name_f][/name_f]
We are searching for a strong, timeless and elegant name. Not too popular. Bonus if it has a beautiful reference (literature, geography, mythology, history, etc) and works in [name_f]French[/name_f] and in [name_f]English[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f]Our daughter Is L.i.v [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and our son E.l.l.i.o.t.t [name_m]Everest[/name_m] [name_m]Zephyr[/name_m].
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Can[/name_m] you suggest new names?
[name_f][/name_f]
Here is a little moodboard to help define my husband’s style. [name_f][/name_f]
I know two people called [name_f]Bruna[/name_f] here in the UK, and another called [name_f]Bleuenn[/name_f], and they seem to work [name_f][/name_f] While [name_f]Prune[/name_f] is probably a step too far in [name_f]English[/name_f], [name_f]Brune[/name_f] could work to me.
[name_f][/name_f]
I do like [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f]!
I love Esme and Maxine! They are so international and I think the absolutely fit your vibe! You may just need to try to refresh them a little. I do like Alba and I think it fits your style. I really like Anouk and Freya. For Roma, I think of the Romani people. Ada and Thelma are pretty but I like the other names better. Billie doesn’t really seem to fit your style to me it feels a bit country and cutesy. I think Colette, Hyacinth, and Artemis would make good middle names.

I love [name_f]Alma[/name_f], my husband loves [name_f]Margot[/name_f] but it’s too close to our daughter’s middle name (Marlowe). [name_f][/name_f]I think that I prefer [name_m]Bellamy[/name_m] for a boy [name_f][/name_f]I prefer [name_f]Colette[/name_f] over [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Florence[/name_f] is beautiful but too close to my name [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marnie[/name_f], [name_f]June[/name_f], [name_f]Bruna[/name_f] & Bruni are beautiful
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
Thank you! I think [name_f]Brune[/name_f] could work but I wonder if I don’t want something a little more known in the [name_f]English[/name_f] culture.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f], [name_f]Mina[/name_f], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] are my favorites
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Prue[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful but sadly doesn’t work in [name_m]French[/name_m]. I do like [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] and [name_f]Nour[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
I like [name_f]Rue[/name_f] (doesn’t work in French), [name_f]Mina[/name_f], [name_f]Romy[/name_f] (a little too popular here), [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] (too close to my name), [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Colette[/name_f], [name_f]Artemis[/name_f], [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_f]Cerise[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] & [name_f]Monet[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
Your combos are beautiful!
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] was almost my daughter’s name (Esme [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f] Colette)
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
Not a fan of [name_f]Francine[/name_f] but I love [name_f]France[/name_f], [name_f]Francille[/name_f] or [name_m]Frankie[/name_m] (but too nickname-y). I’m not sure I would use [name_f]Nina[/name_f], [name_f]Marla[/name_f] or [name_f]Mira[/name_f] but they are beautiful. I feel like I should like [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] more because it has potential, and I love [name_f]Billie[/name_f] as a possible nickname. [name_f]Greer[/name_f] and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] are definitely middle names I could use!
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
I love [name_f]Pia[/name_f], [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] and [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]I like [name_f]Marnie[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f], [name_f]June[/name_f], [name_f]Nina[/name_f], [name_f]Suzie[/name_f], [name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Marla[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]I think I prefer [name_m]Dune[/name_m] for a boy, but it’s beautiful
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
I love [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
