We ([name_u]Nat[/name_u] and [name_m]Zeke[/name_m], hi!) have been trying to find a name to fall in love with for baby B. We’ve chosen [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] for her twin sister, and we welcome comments on that. They have a nine year old brother named [name_u]Justice[/name_u].
Some names that we’ve looked at, and like very much but don’t necessarily love yet are:
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] (can sound silly with big brother [name_u]Justice[/name_u])
[name_f]Honor[/name_f] (same)
[name_f]Callista[/name_f]
[name_f]Mariana[/name_f]
[name_f]Corinna[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] (not sold on having the same initials for twins)
[name_f]Danica[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
We would welcome all and any suggestions, comments and observations. I am a very anxious baby-namer and my husband likes all names, every name.
Hmmmm. [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] even though it’s my favorite from you list. I like Corinna. [name_m]How[/name_m] about
I like [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] the best from the list! [name_m]Deli[/name_m]/lilah are cute nn that pair well with [name_u]Ari[/name_u]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]!
I absolutely adore [name_f]Callista[/name_f] & [name_f]Arielle[/name_f]! [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] are pretty together but probably a bit too close in sound. I think any of these sound nice but [name_f]Callista[/name_f] stands out to me.
I kind of like [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] with [name_f]Arielle[/name_f], actually - I like that they’re linked visually by the “ie” followed by double consonants and aurally with three syllables and a long EE sound. A very subtle way of “twinning” without being too matchy, in my opinion.
Hello, and congratulations! From your list, my favorites in terms of style and matching are [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], [name_f]Danica[/name_f], and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]. What about…
I love [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] and you have a great list. I plan to use [name_f]Corinna[/name_f] nn [name_f]Coco[/name_f] and have considered [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u] as a sister, I think it’s a super cute pairing. My next favorites are [name_f]Callista[/name_f] and and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Danica[/name_f] but to me they are a little different in style. The first syllables of [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] rhyme if that bothers you, though I do like the name and think they go well. I agree about avoiding another virtue name since you already have a [name_u]Justice[/name_u].
I like [name_f]Honor[/name_f]. Also based on your list what about
[name_f]Danielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Halia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ariella[/name_f] (perhaps with the more Hispanic pronunciation with more D sound instead of an R sound)
[name_f]Alia[/name_f]
[name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_f]Lia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] or [name_f]Maria[/name_f]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosaline[/name_f]
What about [name_f]Honora[/name_f] or [name_f]Onora[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Honor[/name_f]? That would make it a little less literal and a little more feminine to match [name_f]Arielle[/name_f].
[name_u]Justice[/name_u], [name_f]Arielle[/name_f], & [name_f]Danica[/name_f]!! [name_u]Love[/name_u]!
No second choice, this is just perfect, [name_u]Ari[/name_u] and [name_u]Dani[/name_u]…
[name_f]Callista[/name_f] & [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] is by far my fave pairing, with [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] & [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] a distant second.
Think the [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] & [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] pairing is [name_m]WAY[/name_m] too similar for sisters, let alone twin sisters.
[name_f]Callista[/name_f] is my favorite pair for [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] in your list. I also like [name_f]Honor[/name_f], and I could be persuaded by [name_f]Delilah[/name_f].
